Italians later discarted this car, and sold the licence to russians to build lada, just like they did with the 125(polski fiat 125p) and 126(polski fiat 126p), and 128 (zastava). They discarted 128 as unsafe despite being very safe!? And when zastava bought 128 they improved the suspension and it became a more stable thus safer car... Nevertheless i drive a fiat stilo today and a zastava, and none of these has ever let me down.

Wow, in peru we imported romanian and korean made daewoo ticos. The cars were as small as hell for two reasons:

cheaper yet horribly made

unsafe and prone to trap any passenger on an accident

and any other korean car before the 2000s was as terrible as unreliable. Why does America want chinese cars anyway?

I love Italian cars/motorcycles and currently own two small displacement Italian motorcycles. You are correct that you shouldn't knock anything before you try it. That having been said, your blanket statement about your car being so much better than "whatever the fuck you drive" is really no different than what you yourself are preaching against. I had a '68 125, great car. Friends had a 124 Sports Coupe, I fell in love with that, it was gorgious. But a piddly 1.6L lol, still it seemed fast at the time. When the 124 went out of production the entire production line was brought up and moved to Russia where the car was manufactured as the Lada.
