This was my favourite show as a kid! I always wanted a bedroom like Sooty's!

Sooty went down the pan after Matthew left. It just wasn't the same anymore.

I loved the older episodes with Matthew right back to the 70s and with Harry Corbett in the 50s, talk about nostalgia!

To be fair, Richard's okay, but the rest of the show has lost it's magic. They now live in a horrible hotel instead of a nice house or shop and it's not funny anymore.

Sooty was always something to look forward to back from school, now it's just a mess. I also don't like the new characters.

my dad is a house surveyor, and he went to a house which had 2 rooms coated in sooty and sweep wallpaper that looked maybe from the 80's. He took a picture and its the same wallpaper or border they have in their house!

I love how Matthew does the broadcasts on the radio during this episode and they dont 'realise' and I find it funny how when he says "back to the music.." its bagpipes...
