She's a really good singer in my eyes ... i love her voice ... and yeah she's got a big range but i think the biggest thing with that is ... wether you like her voice or not! because it has a 'weird' (don't know another word in english) sound when she goes up. and so she's a great singer but important is if you like the color of her voice or not!

Tina Arena is certainly in the top heap of Australian performers to manage a prolific more than contrived career. Add to that Lisa Gerrard's success and a short list of others. I have not heard anything really stand apart from Vanessa Amorosi, she is, well, average at best. It is my opinion that Vanessa has an audience with people who choose to be marketed to instead of truly and honestly discerning the ability of the artist, or the strength or lack of strength of material presented.
