A lot of Ne-Yo, Timbaland, and others have recycled their beats, and this goes on years back in Jazz, Motown, Funk, R&B, and Pop.. is there a valid point you are trying to make? I personally don't what you all are hearing. maybe the cadences from the lead synths are the same, but "Mars" and "Jamaica Way", but these are very different tracks.

The Ne-Yo songs you refer to are actually produced by a repetitive production group comprised of two norwegian guys. The name of the group is Stargate and they're behind the recent slew of similar-sounding hits from beyonce, mariah carey, jennifer hudson, ne-yo, etc.

You are right that timbaland used to re-use beats in the days he used to produce for aaliyah, ginuwine, missy, playa, etc.

But I always held the neptunes to a higher standard and I feel they are talented enough to not reuse beats.
