Sometimes she's too busy to sign.
I've heard of people that have asked for autographs and she told them that she's busy but if they wait there, she'll come up and sign, and she did it!!
People have to think she's busier than the rest of the pilots, lots of interviews and photoshoots and things. But she's great with fans if you respect her privacy and her working times (you cannot ask her to sing something a minute before the indy 500s start hehe)
