Personally I like the old vocals and wouldn't want to change them, but feel like the new ones are even colder and grimmer, and like them a lot. i was sceptic of the new music of varg, i listened burzum since the day filosofem gets out. i listened their ambient stuff and read their interviews from prison, both things were dissapointing. That song was my soundtrack for 2010. I must have listened to it like 600 times, so an average of 2x/day ! I've slowed down a bit in 2011 but this is still incredibly satisfying ! Globally , I can just affirm that Vaarg didn't lost his creativity and he show us that in this album ,very high song , i don't care politic , it's just beautiful , very great compositor , he's upright with the MUSIC. Here is a very good musician/compositor ,and it make it without wanking .

@Seadevilmusic Subjective opinion of course, personally I think this is some of the worst metal I've heard. But overally I'm not a huge fan of Black Metal anyways. Whitechapel is not really scene, rather one of the few talented Deathcore acts out there together with All Shall Perish, Born of Osiris, The Red Shore, Faceless and Despised Icon.

I'm also pretty much the opposite of a scenekid, trust me, I hate them. I'd describe myself as a swedish brat.
