@mulletrun69 fishing is closed in most areas now in my area (terrebonne , houma,la) oil has reached the closest beaches which is grand isle and fourchon. but most areas inland and areas far wwest of the mississippi are still open and still fishing. but for shrimpers, crabbers, oyster fishermen, and many other sport and commercial fisherman will suffer due to this oil spill. fishing is my favoritesport and it pisses me off because south louisiana has some of the best fishing/seafood.

What were the prices ? I was out for the count during the run here, some only got .15 cent for their roes, glad boat repairs were needed !!! .15 is an insult, a disgrace to our heritage !

You should have used a 3 and half in. mesh gill net.Alot quicker and easier on the back.You could have circled the whole school,and went home w/fat pockets.You guys catch any sandperch over there?

Hi all from wales uk. fantastic video and action. I love my cast net and do well to get live mackrel for bass and when the mackies run wow I must feed all the old people of my town as fish is 2 expensive here in shopsand freeze alot for winter bait for conger rays etc. good luck all and have fun.

Finally someone that gets full spread with a castnet. I was begining to think nobody knew how to throw a net. This is definately one of my favorites. If the vid was clearer it would of scored higher. Saw your other vid, do you brine or season the mullet before you smoke it.
