  • For goodness sake's, what awful music on this clip. Ruins everything.

  • The Fokker D-7 von Richthofen is sitting in came out about a year after he was killed. Still great photography

  • Where did they find all those Fokker D-7's for the Germans? Amazing!

  • Yes collision was real. Pilots died making this movie. Read Hells Angels / Howard Hughes history.

  • The mosic is out of place. SUCKS!!!

  • Music killed it for me!

  • song fail

  • Great movie.

Any chance to know title and singer of the background music from part 1/2 and part 2/2?

  • Why Music

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Why Music son of bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why did you put music over it .. this is supposed to be the first hollywood movie with " son of a bitch " word in it !!

  • They used real planes. It was Howard Hughes private Airforce he said. Its great to see it after 80 years.Fantastic!!!

  • remove the music, is killing clip

  • I don't suppose you could repost the movie but with the shitty music removed?

  • im not usually a fan of this style of music, but i admit I like it very much for this movie. great job.

  • they don't make movies like this anymore. Using real planes looks 100 times better than any of this cheep CGI stuff they use these days. This footage even looks better than the Hell's Angels footage in The Aviator.

I would love to watch the whole thing some day.

  • every single vid you make = 10/5 :D yet again very good music goes well with vid

  • Has to be the best clips ever of WWI aircraft at their true greatness, not like later movies which they didn't want to risk the planes and pilots by doing daring stuff. Hughes really didn't care about safety when filming this movie he wanted it as epic as possible. People like ot look at Blue Max when it comes to how WWI aircraft can maneuver, but they really should look at Hells Angels, the first WWI Air Combat film.

  • So they used real airplanes in this movie. awaysome!

Was every move planned or did the pilots try to get behind another plane?

    those clouds look big.

The colission from 3:49 wasn't real was it?

  • @kedrednael Yes, they used real planes:) I think it was planned:)

no, of course this colission wasn't real:)

  • @Duchovicius I wouldnt be so sure. I mean Im sure it ws really two planes hitting, I mean if we want to get into details, multiple pilots and a mechanic died in the filming of this movie, aswell as most of the pilots are actual world war pilots, annnd they refused to do some of the shots in the movie, leading Hughes to film them himself, which even he crashed doing.

  • @kedrednael yes it was real 2 pilots died there ikr where the other one died

  • Absolutely epic...

  • @ThrilloVanHouten Thanks:D

  • UAUUUUU!!!!!

  • @Godsinwar :D:D

  • AWESOME....just plane AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!
