  • If possible, this song can bring millions together in solidarity.

  • This song blows my mind!

  • My personal favorite hendrix tune...something about it makes you feel a way that no other song that I have ever heard can make you feel. "Through the misty breeze, of my waterfall." Amazing..so much emotion in such a mellow and relaxed song, only jimi could do this

  • His smooth, silky, deep voice can put me to sleep just by listening to this song. Come back to us jimi we love you.

  • Jimi.Mitch and Noel,all have passed.R.I.P Jimi Hendrix Experience.

  • Nah I think Miles Davis was an influential musician even before Hendrix started performing

  • water fall nuthin can harm me at all ..... sum ppl say love is 4 the lazy minded fool wat nuthin else 2 do.. so let them laugh .... laugh at me

  • Beautiful fuckin video

  • I find it sad that people have to get stoned to enjoy amazing music like this. I would rather listen to it in it's pure form then the distortion that drugs give that make it "better".

  • @AMP09FH well he sure wasn't pure while he was making music like this haha

  • That solo is clearly from another realm. How do I know? Because of the way it makes you feel every single time. You can really fit inside it if you allow yourself to and it's always a place you don't want to leave. Hear Jimi and his guitar drying off at the end shaking off the last couple drops of water as he brings you back to reality.

  • jimi is my fuckin idol... check me out if you want to support a fellow hendrix fanatic and disciple

  • Jimi and I certainly have something in common with this song.

  • i dont think you couldve picked a better slideshow to put this song to.

  • Fall with me for a million days. Someday, I'm going to lose the woman that I love. Nothing reminds me of that more than this song. It's a sad, but happy thing. Powerful too.

  • The singing is extra good on this one.

  • I was walking down my street today. It just finished raining and it was hazy, and very peaceful. Almost like a zen state. So, I turned on my iPod to this song and right when I cut around the corner, at the exact moment when the song played off at 0:36 in the song when Jimi sang, I can see my rainbow calling me, A rainbow appeared. It was amazing... Live on Jimi. Live on...

  • this is coltrane level terretory people, it's about time that people start putting him in the same conversation with bird and coltrane instead of just other guitarists.

  • @astrotrail Awesome point! I do not like the fact that this musical genius by virtue of who his mediocre classic rock contemporaries (cough -Eric Clapton- cough-The Who-cough-Led Zeppelin-cough) were, is always put in their category. Those guys were posers and and imitators who ripped off and in the case of some (cough-Zeppelin) outright stole from innovative American, chitlin circuit musicians. But the thing about Hendrix was he was one of those Chitlincircuit guys and he was innovative

  • @astrotrail Long story short, you don't hear Miles Davis saying he was influenced by the who or Led Zeppelin, but Hendrix was one of Miles' biggest influences. He was truly a free and unique creator who played original music with a set of chops and a musical vocabulary that far exceeded his mediocre contemporaries.

  • he can really touch someone's heart with his music. this song is so relaxing

  • Thumbs up if you consider (like me) that this song is just as touching as Little Wing.

  • @valentin80 oh thumbs up...oops :D

  • Thumbs Up if Youre Still Listening in 2011 =)

  • very nice visual to go with the not overplayed jimi composition..thanx. well the doobie is kickin' in now so......

  • I want to go skydiving while this song plays

  • ive only just started listening to jimi hendrix....my god why havent i heard this before!! :)

  • @thestationukbb4 I remember my first Hendrix song, like 8 years ago, Little Wing, the song's name just brings the soul out of you, oh how I love the version of Little Wing at the Royal albert hall.

  • waterfall nothing hit the seat at all my weiner seems so very small oh my waterfall I can see colors streaming from my pee through the steaming stream of my waterfall some people say: "gay's he who fools around with his urinating tool, and shakes it till it's blue" so let them laugh laugh at me long as I can spew I have much more to spew waterfall don't ever stray down my leg fall freely flow to drain oh my waterfall
  • this song is just so soothing and peaceful. I love this song and Albatross by peter green's fleetwood mac

  • @popwarskatemore7 Peter Green is great too. It's a shame that that bitch slipped him bad drugs. He could've made so much more great music.

  • This song sounds to me very Pacific islands, even a little hint of Hawaii in there. And the music at the very end Jimis' guitar sounds like bubbles bursting on the surface of a waterfall fed lagoon. And believe it or not I'm not even stoned. Yet.

  • @mistomen wtf

  • Yeah, I think it's a little cheesy too, so we had to pick an awesome song to make it ours. :) Thanks!

  • This is the song my fiance and I chose to dance to as our first dance as husband and wife. We love Jimi Hendrix and this song is so beautiful! It's a rumba, so we're going to learn the dance.

I love you my waterfall! 9-9-11

  • @MeganAnnz i've always thought that first dance this is a bit cheesy, but this song would be very nice. hope you enjoy it.

  • @MeganAnnz *first dance THING even.

  • one of the most beautiful solos ever written, possibly THE most.

  • idk if anyones noticed this but if u wear head fones during the solo the sound goes back and forth from left to right. pretty cool that they did that in 67'

  • @BareTheMark

    Good usage of the panning,

  • this is the inly hendrix song my grandma likes... atleast i found something right? but i love all his stuff, you just dont get good stuff now

  • I sing this song to one of my best friends, who's like my sister, baby daughter when I put her to sleep. This song is so relaxing, I could sit & listen to this song all day long w/out getting sick of it.

  • "May this be

    Love or just

    Confusion born out of

    Frustration of not

    Being able to

    Make true physical

Love to the universal gypsy queen

    True, free expressed music

    Darling guitar please rest. Amen"

    -James Marshall Hendrix

  • This is the best song to listen to when you're high.

  • Oh man I have always love this song I grew up listening to Jimi Hendrix great guitarist

  • beautiful Visions, beautifuuuul Song !!!

  • what did u do Wabes?

I cant break away from it...

  • Excuse my whining, but how the fuck can someone dislike this? This is what music is supposed to be.

  • Even when your sober or if your high as hell this song and guitar solo like touch me in a way that i cant explain i just feel so mellow and wonder about our lives on this planet ya know ... this so is sooooo under rated.

  • That guitar solo is so deep man!

  • this cannot be truly appreciated until you listen to it in its original intended quadraphonic format, the guitars and the drums flow around you - it is very trippy

  • One of my all time favourites..simply never get tired of it

  • Greatest song of all time in my humble opinion

  • This song transcends me to a whole new dimension. I love this song. Great vocals and guitar by Jimi.

  • Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Bruce Lee and Janis Joplin the planets must have all aligned during the 60s! They all achieved superhuman feats in such short lifespans!

    RIP 60s Mystics

  • I'm not the biggest fan of Jimi, but this is one of the simplest displays of beauty ever achieved in music.

  • Nossaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa........demais

  • Everytime I listen to this enchanting wonder with headphones I end up with water in my ears.

  • this song is the pinnacle of human achievement. the best thing our species has ever shown. and thats an undisputable fact folks.

  • This is and always will be my favoirite Hendrix song. Such an underated piece of work by the master.

  • Rightous.

  • ISN'T IT AMAZING THAT BANDS PAST, PRESENT, FUTURE ALWAYS TRY TO BE THE GREATEST ARTISTS EVER AND FAIL OR GET THERE THROUGH TIME, YA KNOW, BUT THINK OF IT THIS WAY THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE DID THAT IN 3 YEARS AND THEN THAT WAS IT.

  • One person was going to put the volume up but had some trouble with the mouse and it clicked the dislike button

  • By far one of the most beautiful solo's I've ever had the pleasure of hearing.

  • Give to the world don't take it away, Jimi your life was a right side up melody on an upside down guitar...

  • Talk about goin into a TRANCE...

  • His music is a poor shadow cast from watching him from ten feet away playing this, and his other songs. As in most of the great musicians;his best songs were the least well known...

  • Beautiful Song.

  • @Zephius i just got them right before looking up to your message..

  • magical with the right headphones

  • So sweet & wonderful it truely releases the soul

  • why do talents have to die young?

  • best !

  • one of the lesser-known but more incredibly psychadelic and soothing hendrix songs ever...........in his litany of masterpiece songs, this one is my personal favorite ......every time i hear it, it takes me places...............

  • @jhuranim yes me too. thanks for relaying my message!! LOL

but i jus wanna add to that guitar and drum relationship. its like i'm on a date each time and i'm the third wheel - and i like it. "Where we goin today, boys?"

and i'm gonna let you know, i've had my psychadelics and i enjoy my pot, and let me tell you, this music is so far past what we conceive sober, these few elements do unlock some doors into this music, expression...

  • @jhuranim

This is my fav song of the great Jimi :-D

    A real musical poem...

  • Hendrix was realy turned on by Clapton"s solo on "Im so glad".

  • Profoundly transcendentally removing.

  • Best mix ever.

  • Probably one of the coolest guitar solos of all time.

When someone can practically sing with the guitar then it should be honored.

  • @merkinsniffs this guy before he was real dude when the gay crips and blood and came the ruined erthing

  • @merkinsniffs omg yes this is stupid crazy- i havent any adjectives or adverbs for this craziness!!!!!

is it music? I mean, is it? I feel its moves me in different ways...

truly an experience,...an outward expression of what inside.
