Love It... If this is the best I can get to see the Manhattans perform I'll take it... Would love to have a DVD of them performing live. The Manhattans are awesome... Thanks for sharing
For those of you who don't know. There is only one original member in the group, that is the ledgendary Blue Lovette who's sitting on the left. The great Gerald Alston did'nt join the group until 1975. And with Gerald's great tenor lead, on " Kiss And Say Goodbye", " Shinning Star." Were two breakout bestseller's; that's help to give them longevity. My thanks to You tube for this outlet, thx. for sharing.
WONDERFUL!!! There is not now and never will be any music like "old school" music. It has always been "music for the soul" of a man and a woman. Thank you for sharing this treasure.

You know how some male, and some female, singers voices begin to wane as they mature? Not Gerald Alston's, that's for real.

Gerald Alston join the group around 1972 with his first song being "one life to live" He replaced George Smith who passed away in 1971.

For those of us who grew up with the manhattans in the 70's, nothing but memories. They don't make music like this anymore.
