this was Deep Purple concert I missed by 6 wks., seeing santana in Nov. 1972 in Montreux. we went to only club in Montreux "the Museum Club," & Carlos was at club with his significant other. i went up to him & thanked him for electric Factory concert in Philly in April '70. I also had first seen him in Nov. '69 at Quaker City Rock Festival but didn't mention that he was with his honey. He remembered the Factory, though.

I absolutely LOVE this version than the original. I dont care what anybody else says, this sounds more powerful. yes, there are more additional beats and riffs but this is the kind of song that deserve to be more enhanced and amplified, something that the original seem to lack. The best parts for me were around 2:40-3:26. Jacoby's voice suits this cover.
