He uses the computers and mix pads to basically store his VOICE in patterns and then warps them. The pc helps control his array and of course he maps out his media patterns he has JUST sampled and then piped out probably back INTO the mac fro recording...At least thats what i would use it for if my throat was coated with gobs of win and i wanted to save the performance for later.

Probably because a lot of the beauty of his stuff comes from it just being raw and improvised. Although his stuff is more than good enough to listen to over and over, he probably wouldn't be able to come up with this stuff when confined in a studio. But, I could always be wrong. i like drum and bass and dubstep if it's different, there's a lot of room for creativity in the two genres but also a lot of half-arsed tracks that get very repetitive and very similar. Artists like G Dub, Taxman, Original Sin, etc. are all just the same.
