you can always tell by the sound on the pins hitting if you are going to get a strike or not not low sound strike clanging noise

You can buy this game brand new for $10 at Wal-mart. That's a great deal if you ask me. It's one of the few bowling video games that has actually scored decent reviews

the wii is a lot harder than the ps2... i have 1 299 game... drove right through the pocket and left the 9 pin... i was so ticked off-wii is a little more unpredicitible

Why is the gameplay so slow? Its probably jus goes slow motion, that takes the intensity out of the game, you waiting an eternity jus for the ball to travel down the lane. The graphics are the shit though. Me and my Girl be playing the Wii Bowling, that is the shit.

with my luck id get the 11 strikes and on the last throw it would knock down 9 and get 10 wiggiling pretty good and i would get a 299

It's a great game if you're a bowling fan. But like all other Wii Bowling games with the exception of Wii Sports, the controls are flawed and don't match your hand movements well; the in-game bowler moves rather slowly. But that just encourages you to bowl more realistically and not just flick the ball forward.

But the game does have a lot of depth with the tournaments etc.

I just got a 300 game on this game using the Target Zone 8 and standing at about the 5th arrow at the dots and rolling the ball over the fourth arrow with a little more than average hook!
