  • Whoa you have a lot of talent. I love seeing time lapse paintings like this, you can really see the artist at work. I also love discovering great new artists on Fireviews.

  • Nice work

Although the reflection of the sun did not show a good action steps

  • Simply awesome!

I wish I had your talent.

    64m >:-)

  • Thanks 64m.

    Can't have that much 'talent'.?

Should have turned the canvas around a bit....

    Next time I'll remember;)

  • brilliant*

  • Thank you again Kathy.

I am really happy you enjoyed this:)

  • Seeing this was like a breath of fresh air Ray! The music was so calming and watching you paint made me feel like I had stepped back into time (The Medieval era) if only for just a short while. You are amazing!

Thank you, for sharing you brillisnt talent. I am still in awe!

  • Many thanks Kathy.

I'm happy it took you to a pleasant place, if only for a short time:) And what a time to go back too......

  • Well that's an interesting technique. I really like the look of how it turned out too. Very nice, thanks for sharing that. I've just started really getting into the painting, so I like seeing everybody's techniques as to establish my own. Thanks.

  • This was the first time I'd tried this technique. Not my fave.I like to work in colour.

    Get painting;)

  • Enjoyed this very much Mr L!

    The music so soothing...

    You so Prolific!

    I'm Jealous...

    Prends soin de toi

    Mr D

  • Glad you enjoyed watching this Mr D.

    I love to create;)

    No jealousy please.

And you take good care of yourself as well;)

  • u r the teacher.......i got kicked out of art 101 in high school because i was making toke stones & bongs out of clay:(

  • i didn't mean u were the teacher who kicked me out of class ....i meant u r the teacher as in you are the man....great vid...thanx for sharing

  • Just happy you enjoyed.

I'll be trying to do something else, don't know when.I feel a portrait coming on;))))

    ;)

  • Be glad you got kicked out of your art class, because they would have kicked your creativeness out of you and you wouldn't be doing the work you're doing now, which is some of the most original I've seen.

Be proud you got kicked out, you're in good company;)

  • Wow Ray, I'm really impressed!!! I like it very much!

  • Thanks David.

My first loves were art and music.

    Glad you liked;)

  • very nice ray and a great idea capturing this

  • Glad you enjoyed Gabe;)

  • Let's see some more of these--unless the editing takes too long ;)

  • When I do another one,it will be put up here;)

  • CLAP CLAP CLAP !

You're a very artist 'cause you paint istinctively.

The smoke cloud at 3:54 has arrived until here!!!

  • Well spotted Massi...Did you enjoy it.??

And thank you for the 'clap'.!;)

  • Sis,that's what they said about Picasso.?

"He can't paint. When he does it looks like.. a bunch of alien looking splotches...";)

    Be safe.

  • I wish I could paint that fast. I haven't painted in years because I'm too slow and loose interest.

  • Tess,I sped the film up twice.....

If I painted that fast I wouldn't be sat here,I'd be in the grave yard;)

  • Like magic!

  • That's what I like about creating stuff.

You have nothing at the start but can see 'it' coming to 'life'as you go,in front of you eyes.

    Yes,it is a magic feeling.

    :)

  • now thats amazing ! ! !

  • Thanks Marla;)

  • Yes Ray, this is art. Thank you for sharing.

  • Thank you Ralf.

    Happy you enjoyed;)

  • its very good but im sure if you slowed down a bit it would be better lol

  • Yeah, painting that fast does knacker you out and you can't paint for a week after, need the rest.......Big grin;)))

I don't endorse speed painting lesoo.!!

    WHAT DID YOU FIND.?

  • i lIKE bEING sURPRISE nICE jOB !

  • Thanks club.

  • Thanks Elie.

The only difference is the distance from what you are drawing/painting on.

Now you know how I feel when I watch one of your cartoon drawing vid;)Green with envy...that's me..

  • Well done, Ray !

Wished I could paint.I probably can, but it scares me somehow watching my hand doing the job... while drawing is different. You have to think so fast it makes me forget the fear :-)

    Funny, isn´t it ?

However, you make me envious , that may help ...

    have a nice day.

  • that was very nice ray--i always wish i could paint--

  • Thanks Marc. Give it a go;)

  • Raw talent at work; fantastic. You're a wizard with the brush!

(More vids like this always appreciated here, Ray;-)

  • Danke JM.

I hope to do some more painting in the near future...

    Happy you enjoyed this;)

  • Nice video, I liked to see how the painting took shape!:)

  • Thanks Anthony.

That's what I like, you have a blank canvas and it's down to you to make something from nothing;)

  • Danke für dieses grossartige Video.

    Liebe Grüsse.

  • Danke Aergerdichnicht;)

    I'm gald you enjoy.

  • What a great idea - combining two of your cteative talents! The music was perfectly soothing. Hope we'll be seeing many more of your paintings in the near future : )

  • I'd like to try to do another one for you.

    I'll see what happens;)

  • Saved to favorites! Thank you!

  • Thanks that man;)

  • That was great Ray! You sure have a steady hand! I am so glad you shared that with us. I enjoyed every bit of that. You've got one more new canvas. Right? The editing and rendering of the video that was the hard part! I envy your talent!

  • Thank you Rex. The rendering took hours,I had to do it twice to get the speed up. I've got 2 canvases left,I bought another one.

  • Very nice

  • Thank you;)

  • very cool to watch it all unfold

    thanks

  • It felt good to get back to painting again;)

  • That was fun to watch! Thanks for sharing that! I love watching artists at work...:-) Oh, and thanks for sending the bean counter vid! That was a interesting. I wonder how they came up with the timing bit? 3 seconds for me, so I guess my brain is working...hahaha

  • 3 secs....That was fast.

    I only managed 7secs.

  • I'm a "right brainer", which means the left side is probably non functioning so the right side is compensating...lol 7 secs is fast too! I think that should have gone up to 10 secs actually. A LOT of time in there from 3 secs to a minute!

  • I think there are some that are still looking for him.?

  • Yes, I saw that! And I got some great belly laughs from some of those comments too! I saw it almost instantly, so I can't imagine what it would be like to NOT see it.

  • True;)
