  • YouTube....oahusquid.....check out the 10-12' tiger shark my son and I ran into while spearfishing in Hawaii a few weeks ago.

  • man this is freaking cool. and i thought I WAS CRAZY. much props.

  • Awesome vid! 5*

  • Loved the video - well done. Impressive fish to see at that range I bet! I'm curious as to what they are using in the tube to attract the sharks in - do you know? Cheers for sharing!

  • I've heard that sharks have a thing for metal objects. I think it has something to do with magnetism, thats why great whites often "attack" the shark cage. Acctualy they don't attack but investigate... with their teeth. Just like infants :P

But they may have put something in the tube to attract the shark even more.

  • Are you sure the great whites aren't just flossing on the shark cages LOL?? That was my theory....helps get rid of bits of stuck wetsuit etc

  • they have fishoil and such stuff in those tubes.

the sense that makes sharks biting into metal things has pnly a range of ca. 1 m (3ft)

  • wow that would freak me out a bit seeing a shark that close to me. good video!

  • Tigers are a personal favourite! ;0)

  • amazing creatures. i am 13 and one dday i hope to become a marine biologist but i need to focous more in school cause thatd b my dream job studying these creatures and more all day

  • Name of song???

  • Scorpions - Animal Magnatism

  • Beautiful creatures, only way to see them.. Awesome vid

  • Well actually I have studied the effects into shark feeding and human interaction in some detail. The mix of humans and sharks isn't the issue, its the effects higher/lower down the food chain once these creatures become aggregated into known 'feeding areas'.

  • I wish people would stop feeding sharks, because they're training them to associate humans with food--- bad mix.

  • Whoa. TERRIFIC video!

The shark reminded me of a kitten playing with a cat toy. Eerie, yet funny, too.

Question to the filmmaker: do you still have the chum tube? Are there any bite marks on it?

I would've thought a shark would've crushed the thing with those "jaws."

  • AHHHH SHARKS freak me out i cut my legs on the boat engine cos i fell off the front and i was bleedin like craz and i saw shark fins but was lifted outa the water

    bad bad experience

  • Is this in hawaii?

  • agree fantastic footage.

wouldn't enter the water, let alone a cage without a bang stick tho! :D

  • great footage!

  • hey is cute when it dun try to take a bite from u

  • Spectacular. It must be impressive to be there

  • nice video, has anyone ever been shark cage diving. id love to try!

  • beautiful footage...fav'd

  • Nicely shot video. Atleast they weren't feeding it. They respected the nature of the sharks feeding habits. They just used a chum tube to attract the animal. I wish I was on the dive.

  • Brilliant. Palle d'acciaio!

  • I saw a dead one of these that some guy caught 2 miles off the Jersey shore, scary as hell though it was dead!

  • great filming

  • nice! you guys have way more balls than me!

  • as soon as i saw those's sharks side fins. i knew they where pisse off lol

  • The dive was aboard the Gulf Stream Eagle out of Palm Beach, Fl. This dive was off the Westside of Grand Bahama Island. Here is there number. 1-888-488-3483 The main soundtrack is "Animal Magnatism" by the Scorpions. JD

  • nice shark, shame about the music, cheapens it i reckon, corny???yes

  • That has to be one of the biggest sharks I've seen on tape ..great clip

  • excellent sound track! Scorpians!

  • Scorpions!!!

  • sounds like the scorpions

  • If you like sharks check out adoptashark They let you adopt a shark online and then give you all the data they download from the satellite tag they have on the shark like where it went in the ocean, what depth etc. very cool

  • That was totally awsome!!! Who filmed that, he must have been close and brave!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • the first time I see a shark playing!

    GREAT! and thank you!

  • why on earth are they called tiger sharks? htey have spots. They should be jaguar sharks or something.

  • cheeta sharks?

  • as babies the markings are very stripey. when they grow the stripes fade and lose distinction.

  • because the juveniles have the stripes, but when they get to be adults they are fainter and may not even have any

  • nice 1 my fav shark seen plenty coral sea /fiji nice clip

  • Wow, great clip! Whats the main song playing after the Weezer/hash pipe intro please?
