In the 50's & 60's I sang with a group at

Soul's Harbor Church in Minneapolis. Jack was an eagerly awaited guest solist and sang with our most talented pianist and arranger, Nathalie Haag.

Nathalie loved violins and often used them in her arrangements, so I am curious if she had any part in this recording? As a teenager, it seemed Heaven opened every time Jack shared his love of the Lord with that rich tenor voice. Can hardly wait to join THAT heavenly choir -- it will be deafening!

Blessings, I have always thought Jack Holcomb was one of the best Gospel Tenors ever. There are other videos of Jack on YT. Sorry, but I don't know who played the violin on this.

I'm so happy to hear Jack's voice again. My mother always loved his singing....she said he sang with a tear in his voice. I have several 33 1/3 LP's of his songs that are 40 yrs. old, but my record player won't work any more. Thank you.

Absolutely fantastic recording. Please bring more recordings of people/groups like this to our ears as most of us (who are not Americans or who do not have access to American radio) have never heard gospel music like this before, and it is very hard to learn about these old time singers and find their recordings anywhere else except now through the internet. Literally falling apart, and the binding is a tight circle about a quarter inch in diameter. I love worn out Bible that are dog eared, and marked up.

It tells me it's been read.

Amen brother Tim. I get a kick out of preachers who preach "works" but have NEVER put "work" into reading their Bibles. I heard a guy preach from what he called "RevelationS" with the "s" the other day. All he knew about it was that he was claiming in 2005 he had a "vision" and out of body experience. Went to heaven and heard the 'Father & Son" discussing the End Times.
