Rahat is a greatt singer. No doubt. But not the greatest. Kishore Kumar was the greatest of all ever. Rahat was trained by the great NFAK. Kishore didnt get any kind of training; let alone from smone as great as NFAK. Kishore cant be compared with anyone. His songs give you real pleasure if u liked this song by Rahat. And Rahat himself said once that he`s a big fan of Kishore and he gave tribute to him by singing his songs. Go listen to "Zindagi Ka Safar" or "Mere Naina Sawan" or "Aane Wala Pal"

Humare artist jate hai aur puri duniya mein kamal karte hai.. Ek baat janiye madam, apke sirf 4 singers India me popular huye hai .. Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Atif Aslam, Ali Zafar and Shafaqt AManat Ali.. because they are good... just to clarify Mr Zagham 99's comments:RFAK was contributing to Hollywood music and collaborating with western bands since 1995.Bollywood embraced him in 2004. We,Pakistanis are grateful for the love given to him by India but he was not a dargah singer as the gentleman said.

@zagham99 i think this women's analytical power is less! just check what she is telling, madam Rahath Fathe ali & lot of pakistani singers would have ended there life singing at Dargahs( sufi shrine) they became famous & international star ONLY after comming to INDIA!! seriously speaking. Nobody has been a better singer in Indian suncontinent than Sonu Nigham since kishore's death. I mean nobody. His range is so versitile is amazing. Rahat is a very good BACKGROUND singer & I love his voice. but he is not a lead singer & his range is very limited to soft to qawwali songs. Sonu has done every song with subdle variations of voice brilliantly kind of reminded of legend Rafi in past 15 yrs. nobody currently is better than Sonu Nigham right now in South Asia.

@mnkhan2020 Well..it is ur opinion but Sonu Nigham's quality of tone is very "common" although his "control over harkats" is very good..but certainly it is extremely unfair to say there is no one better than Sonu Nigham....he is good very god but he is not the best

@grewaljassu Sonu is uncomparable (Sorry, I m his fan. plz dont feel offensive). He is the best thing only after Kishor Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar. He can sing ANY song with utmost comfort. No matter what. Rahat bhai, however has a limited range. With low pitch, he fumbles but when he reaches his comfort zone.... believe me... rahat cannot be touched. Anyways... Sonu bhai has something which no singer has and that is that silken touch with sweetness.
