  • OMG who things of all of these? Themes, choreographies, harmonies, humour... everything is wonderful in every video I've watched!!!!

  • @99sra Thanks very much. When 200 singers assemble in Hollywood, there are many collaborators! Give special credit to the dancer in the purple kimono. He choreographed this entire number, including the surprise with the fans at the end. Be sure to visit us if you come to LA. For tickets, see: gmcla.org

  • @jimroman Yes, I've read about the choreographer in purple. What a nice job! He is also very pretty! Don't get me wrong, I'm a girl lol ;)

Bravo to everybody for the wonderful voices and performances and to every collaborator! I'll surely visit you if I ever come to LA (I live in Europe). Thanks for the answer ;)

  • I love it!!! Well done, it might set the standard for this aria. Just great fun! Wonderful choreography! Also, these are the most ravishing three little maids I have seen!.

  • I'm glad to find out I'm not the only one who sings this song down an octave X__x

  • Two points to make; A) drag is always a crowd pleaser when played for laughs (which was done quite well here), B) it's almost fitting that men are playing women—despite being a very Savoy Opera written by a couple of British guys, it's traditional for men to play as women in kabuki theatre (as well as traditional Shakespearean theatre).

  • hahahahaha soooo funnyy

  • And exactly what difference does it make what their orientation is if they create great music and have fun? These are very talented people.

  • Great job! I think Mark is the prettiest.

  • I wasn't able to be there and am SO GLAD (that's right, GLAD!) that I just found this vid. Gary, you are priceless !

  • This would be even funnier if straight men did this. There are too many uptight people in this world and they all need to relax and just have fun in life.

  • @Scarecrow2004 Funnily enough there would have been a time when straight men would have done this without being stigmatized but I don't think the world was any better then as it is now.

  • VERY CUTE!!!

  • XD GAHAHA!! OMG this is the cutest thing ever.

  • What a great presentation - perfect!

  • Absolutely FABLULOUS, boys! I just had the urge to pull out my own fan and sing along!

Keep it up, you guys are AMAZING!!

    Love,

An adoring fan from NorCal :)

  • This is just too cute. All of those men with fans and so unexpected! Just too cute.

  • I loved the little fan wave at the end the blue kimono is beautiful

  • not exactly what gilbert and sullivan had in mind for this song but amazing nevertheless! you can really tell they're all having lots of fun!

  • Jim, would it be OK to ask for IDs on the "three little maids"? I think the one in pink is the first tenor of the three, right?

  • @wkyken

No, first tenor TK Asano wears the turquoise kimono, second tenor Gary Hayashi in pink, and Mark Chung is the baritone in purple who also choreographed the number for chorus and maids. Thanks for asking!

  • LOL! Amazing!

  • I love it. They are soo cute!!

  • I absolutely loved this! I can't stop watching these guys. I think they should do Madama Butterfly next.

Come to NYC! Please. They could definitely sell out Carnegie or Alice Tully Hall.

  • Ah, they're too adorable.

  • Very well done. My choir did the mikado this year too.

  • the best version i've ever heard

  • What makes it hysterical is the musicianship. If they'd been falsetto, off-key and silly it would have been LESS fun. I love the GMCLA!

  • This is my favorite of the GMCLA's videos on YouTube. :0) I love it!

  • HAHAHAAHA! :10-:11, it was like TALK TO THE FAN; instead of talk to the hand.

    1:11, hilarious buttflirt.

When the GMCLA joined in, that was even more hilarious with the syncronized fans and the fan wave.

  • If this statement offends you, would you please click on comflectiveprdctions' hyperlink and tell him? There's no room for hate here.

  • I wouldn't worry about him. Once he comes to grips with his homosexuality, he'll look back on this and regret having been such an ass.

  • pure genius.

  • if straight people had this much fun.. there wouldn't be war :P

  • @BenPilkington4925 AGREED!!!
