Yeah, right...sigh. The speed has to do with your telephone connection, not your Mifi, you make it seem like everyone who gets that Mifi will have similar speeds...not!

Good video but the rover puck is better it's prepaid and it's 4G...rover is clear's pre paid version the puck allows 8 devices to be connected and will cost about $150 the plans are unlimited $5day, $20week, $50month

I just bought the MiFi on AT&T (they now have it as part of their lineup) and I bought the laptop connect 5 GB plan. The terms of service prohibit using handset data plans for laptops and other non phone devices without a tethering plan.

sort of. he emphasized use of 5 devices but i didnt see a return/refund policy and its a Russian firm which makes me leary big time!

you must remove your simm card from your iphone and insert into their device,. if you have iphone on att you have unlimited data plan which he indicated you will need.

@rednes800 To do this with your iPhone you need: 3G network service. and a Jailbroken iPhone. Then you go to cydia and download the application MYWI and now you can use your iphone as a internet modem!

Why does the US have so many competing network technologies? It just messes things up and reduces competition. Here in the EU all networks use the same tech so you can take your custom elswhere pretty damn easily if you dislike a network (contracts are obviously more difficult). The mobile market is VERY healthy here in Europe compared to the US, or so it seems. You have 2 networks for both of the main techs used, here there's like 10 just in the UK.
