Don't get me wrong I'm all for seeing Sega back in action but consoles have come a long way since Dreamcast which was no competition for PS2. If they want to release a new console it will need the following things:

Sonic Unleashed COULD HAVE and should have been a great game.. just the werehog crap messed everything up. The reason why Mario's gimmicks are more likable than Sonic's is because THEY DON'T LAST LONG! That's where Sonic Colors comes in.. you can get all sorts of power-ups and be a rocket, drill, box, etc. But it never drags on or lasts forever.
