I like the exchange between the Platoon Sergeant and the LT about the Platoon Sergeant's sixth sense. When I served as a Platoon Leader in Iraq I had similar conversations with my Platoon Sergeant. Even though the movie was set in Vietnam and the combat has been "holiwoodized" the movie does a decent job capturing what it is like to be a Platoon Leader in an Infantry unit. The only thing is it doesn't capture how much an LT depends on their Sergeants. Without my NCOs I would have been nothing.

Stupid movie. Inaccurate both tech and historically. Did the director even try to do research into the Viet Nam conflict. Acting was awfull.
