Intense stuff, man. The hip hopera concept in itself isn't too bad. I guess they need the violence to keep in resonance with the attention span of the average American. Great cast, though, love the brothers and sisters who actually entertained the script. Wrong project, that's all. The truly good actors and actresses happen to get marginalized in Hollywood, unfortunately. Haven't watched the movie, however, maybe it has a good theme in midst of the madness.

i give mad props to SF for creating a film in rap, w/o any dialogue. this is the first, i think, or was it carmen w/B and mehki pfiefer? hmmm i guess that was more so a hip hop musical film, whereas, a day in the life is strickly rap and hip hop rhymes. it also appears to be a well known cast in this movie. i just saw this dvd in walmart (clinton, maryland) and started to get it but opted for another one. now i wish i would grab it to check it out for myself.....oh well next time, huh?!
