I must have seen the Thunderbirds 20 times or more. Growing up in the Air Force, I used to watch them when they flew F-100's, then F4's, and now F-16's. I never get tired of them!
We wouldn't be ruled by Russia as they eventually fought against Germany in WW2 and it was America that caused the Cold War with Russia. And China? Iraq would have never gotten far enough in the Gulf War to actually take over many countries.
Oh, you left out Germany which, if you had said it, I would have to almost agree with you.
But none of that would have mattered because if it wasn't for us British you Americans wouldn't even be there!

You see the Blue Angels and the Thunderbirds are all about making you cringe and the pilots doing nice gimmicky tricks but the Red Arrows are more about their choreography. The do incredible things that just look fantastic and do lots more private showings for companies and clubs.
Just watch a YouTube video called "Dangermen - Red Arrows HD". You'll see what I'm talking about.

im going to the airshow at nellis on the 14-15th. it's going to be awesome just like last year. and before that im goin to the red bull party before the airshow (friday night) to see the mig 17 fireworks show!!! last year it was amazing!
the red bull party (for vips and families only) starts at i think 7 o' clock PM. the airshow on saturday and sunday officially start at 10:00 AM...But if you want to see the B-2's, B-52's, A-10's, and a bunch of other awesome planes, showup on saturday at 8 AM. (you may not however be able to get on the base at that time...I'd check with the Base)....Do you live in Vegas?

Thunderbirds came first. And the F-16s are much more manuverable than those of the F/A-18s that the Blue Angels use. So in my opinion, the Thunderbirds are a better "show" and definitely have better precision.
the USAF thunder birds have ten planes and can do a lot cooler maneuvers. The blue angels only have six. And the air force has more of a part in dessert storm than the navy does!
I think it really just comes down to what type of plane you like or whether you are a fan of the Air Force of the Navy. Both are equal in skill however.
Dad was career Air Force. He flew P38's & 51's in WWll and F86's in Korea. He loved the AF. But at times I would tease him and say that the Blue Angels were as good if not better. Talk about anger. He used language I can't type hear talking about the Navy and their pilots. It was way too funny.

At around the 4:30 mark, that song. Man I would feel so embarrased flying for the thunderbirds. Their team's name isnt even that great anyway... its named after a kids TV show.

The USAF THUNDERBIRDS were names in honor of a Southwestern Indian Legend. The tribes believed in the god of the skies which resembled an eagle. Lightening was caused by the birds eyes and thunder from his wings. The USAF adopted this name in honor of the American Indians and their legend. THE LEGEND LIVES ON
