hey, nice one. its so simple that i never thought of the neckholder. but its clear that it must be much better. i bet this will improve my little flights much better.
(it seems you can use a potbelly-stand, too =) *kidding*
i set up my FSM the way i thought it would be best...learned to lfy pretty nice too. then i found out my settings where just like mode 4. not used much in USA...so what is the best b=mode for helies
You will find the DF4 will fly much better with SuperSkids / Extreme Skids applied. The hovering ability is just so much better, and no need to modify the controllers.
I totally agree with you, my DF 04 used to shake alot and the landing skid let loose sometimes and after I installed the super skids it fly's extremely stable.
I use my controller without any trims, i've tried to have the best fit on rotor's linkages, that's better 'cause walkera transmitter's trims are too uncertains...
Well I am not so sure how good is moding it like that as you can accidentally crash it much easier... but I find that it is annoying to have the clicking with a fixed pitch heli... You are really brave flying it in such a small space... :)
I find it much easier to adjust my hover without the click. While it's now a little easier to "droop" the throttle while applying right rudder, I like it better this way.
I feel reasonably comfortable flying in a small space now... The room is about 6' x 6'.
It is just a small screw that you loosen and then move the spring arm. It can easily be put back into place. You can also slightly adjust the arm to increase/decrease the click tension if you want to.
Nice work. I have a friend with a Walkera 60 and he can't hold a stable hover like that in such a small space. I'll have to tell him about your click removal mod. I have an E-Sky Lama that could benefit from that as well. Which Walkera number is the one you're flying in the video?

The most annoying thing for me is the trim click... because every click is not always enough to adjust it :S

Hey, fellow Walkera owners, how do you hold your controller?
