The G3A3 is my absolute favourite gun in the game. Then again nobody likes the Underslung rail attachment either. An underslung M26 is a must for me using a rifle, so my top two AR's are the G3A3 and the AK :P

@twsb156 Personally, the FAMAS because I can control the recoil. The AEK-971 is statistically superior in every way except for ROF, basically, it comes down to preference if you prefer accuracy and reliability go AEK, fast killing: FAMAS.
@HarmfulDesign The scar-H is a carbine, which is in the engineer kit. I'll cover it in that episode. The explosives episode won't be for a while, I still have to go through all the kits and vehicles.
Time to kill is just wrong. You said recoil was factured in. It was obviously not, since the L85 has the slower TTK than the FAMAS at long range.

Actually, what the medkit also does, is that it starts healing you instantly, and you don't have to wait 16 seconds to start regenerating.
