  • he looks so much better with the long hair!!

he may not be much of a dancer, but he goes for it 100% and it shows.

  • This Thandava is too good ! People who make mockery out of it or say it is comical, should realise that to have grace in this dance will look unnatural. Grace will fit in only in Romance and not in Mrithyu Thandava ! Whatever is shot , was shot in a time where kollywood didnt have technology related facilities. Now, for Dasavatharam, we dont require kamal, graphics will do better than him. this is technology yuga. The only role that stood in everybody's mind was of Balram Naidu. Rest Waste.

  • wat pic is this...pls sumbody let me kno.......

  • Sivaji was a gr8 actor but a bad dancer. But at least he is trying. Got to give him credit for that

  • I dont know what is the purpose Its looks awafull for a gigantic fat old aged flabby person and ridiculous facial expression Doing just bizzare things is no Hinduism Its like Not Have some thing to say but say something

  • oh nooooo..lol awful

  • Great Dance with motion......Har Har Maha Dev...

  • He does a great job in capturing the spirit of this dance despite not being a trained dancer nor having the athleticism to pull this off. Kudos to him for transmitting the feeling so well, he at least understood the idea better than so many others who usually would have finessed the life out of this. Good job!

  • Okayyy..interesting

  • Give the guy a break he is short and squat and not exactly handsome. Does a good job considering. However my idea of the great manifestation of Shiva...well this fella isnt it.

  • Sivaji wasn't a trained dancer at all. So definitely his moves aren't crisp and fluid and it lacks technicality. But i suppose he did his best and that was the most important factor. I seriously believe Kamalahasan would have excelled in this dance. He is a trained dancer. Nice video anyway!

  • so nice... haha!

    :)

    Jay Shiv Shankar Nataraj

  • y is mahadeb, bholenath, shivji, tripurari, jagarnath, the holder of all these great titles, the lord of destruction, the destroyer of evil YELLOW?

  • This dude has two left feet. Awful. They should have used a body double and just done long shots instead.

  • I love this, and the Tandava Lasya. Is this from one production that is intended to be seen all together or are they just seperate Tandavas?

  • You morons !!! Focus on the essence of dance. Tandav is a advanced form of resonance. The entire world can vibrate provided you have spiritual power and super consciousness which lord Shiva is depected as shown in the video. THE 10 dimentions space is also vibrating as you can see later in the video. This movie was made when 10 dimentional theory was not even heard in the western world !!!

    INDIA is great !

  • Sivaji is feeling Siva, almost overcome by him. You can see it in the way his muscles move and his face. I think that's more important than grace-- you can tandav with all the grace in the world, but if you don't feel Siva, you can't bring him into the dance.

  • aaaaahahahahahhahahahahahaha its waaayyyyyy tooo comical.. i mean look at sivaji!!!... he cant dance.. they sdhuve got someone else to do the graceful dance. Well neways.. may lord shiva bless his soul

  • Like Ghatesh I also found this a bit comical. I only imagine Lord Shiva as an amazing, graceful, elegant dancer (like everyone else mentioned). This guy (who I;ve seen before and he is a good dancer) was sometimes offbeat, and his movements were nowhere near fluid, lol. Good try, but not many people can capture the true essence of what Lord Shiva looks like dancing anyway.

  • this the dance performed by lord shiva when he destructs the creation (sristi sanharam) which will obiviously has to be tamas as its a dance for distruction but his devotees enjoy this dance as well because Bhktas are never afraid of God and love his all actions. Om namah Shivay.

  • both the dance and music seem too low grade bollywood. Has a tamasic vibe instead of Satvic. comical rather than profound and majestic. sorry but that's what I feel.

  • I think that he's wearing too many clothes. If the actor wore less clothes and had longer hair then it would appear to be more graceful. But it's good! I've seen this one a few times before actually saving it - finally!

  • According to a bharatnatyam site, tandav can also be used as a martial art form, so look at this as amartial art form with a dholak playing. Shri devi and Damini tandav is more fluid and high quality, but I would like to see a rudra tandava.

  • I Like SIVA TANDAVA MUSIC, IT IS GREAT!

  • I think the dance of creation and destruction would be a little bit more elegant than that...I was just waiting for him to fall over...

  • aaaaaaaaaaaaaaah???? , nunca habia visto algo asi, jeje

  • Shiva's kinda stumpy
