I believe that the media put a huge spotlight on Sarah and she was tired of being told she was dumb so she's bucked down, did her homework, and has come to realize that Ron Paul is the best of the bunch. I would hope that that is the case and that Sarah has perhaps developed a more thoughtful nature and perhaps tried to grow spiritually as a person. She will need to do a lot to gain any trust from the movement though. She should publicly denounce McCain and his gang for using her.
