Would fire service call the fire dept/ set off the fire alarm system? I don't wanna do if I will get in trouble.

@msj191961 No, it won't set off the fire alarm but please ask the building owner before doing anything like that with the elevator, you wouldn't want to hinder people trying to use the elevator, and the building owner probably wouldn't be pleased so yes you could get in trouble for doing this if you don't have permission. But it shouldn't set the alarm off or call the FD.

My grandma owns (built) the building and bought the elevators herself. I'f you saw the motor, you'll be shocked, cause it's smaller than a car...she had no idea of what I was talking about when I said, "Can we go to your storage and let me take a video of the elevator in fire service." she said, "Ok!?!?"

The hydraulic pumps and tanks can be pretty small. Lucky you have access to a Dover motor. Dover is my absolute favorite company! Nice demo! I wish I had a key to do that!!
