Im seriously considering skaven... can you convert clan rats into slaves? I'm just considering the island of blood box.

@luckyd0m yes, you don't even need to convert, half the clan rats int he box are slaves, look at them, the ones without armor are slaves, the ones with armor are standard clan rats

@SkavenWarhammer Start producing videos with some quality and I am sure you'll have a successful channel, but as it stands this comment feels more like spam when I am sure you are trying to just get a decent skaven focused channel going.

I have a vid on my own channel that may help you specificly, production values. I'm still learning and want to get back into it, but the advice I've been given and shared is solid gold, and i hope it helps you and your channel.

The articels on the GW website if you want to play a pratice game with someone.

Paints if you want them painted.

A hobby knife and those scissor looking things helps a lot when getting rid of moldlines. GW glue wont be necesary with whats in the starter boxbut i think it could be usefull when assembling some models.

If you want to actually start collecting one of the armies you're also gonna have to buy their army book since the special rules etc aren't listed with the units.

Hopefully im getting Island of Blood for my Bday or Xmas, it looks awesome, but at the start when i heard of em i thought it comes with the full Island of Blood Scenery, i was like "OMFG, I WANT THAT" but then i heard it does not come with it, but i still want the set, cause i have not played Warhammer Fantasy but ive played LOTR and 40K.

@MrSchnieke practice, practice, practice! Also do things that challenge your painting skills so that you can get better. If there are painting contests on any of the gaming forums that you visit, enter them, start a painting log, keep painting. If you see a neat model that you think would be slightly above your level (or pick a scheme that is harder than you are used to) do it! You will learn a ton, even if you fail (and that is what they make simple green/brake fluid for!)

@norsehawk Also, if you don't already have them, pick up the washes from GW or look up the awesomepaintjob channel and get his recipes and make your own (I do both) There is a reason I have heard Devlan Mud nicknamed 'skill in a bottle'  That stuff is amazing. by far it is my hands down favorite wash. I use it to shade bone, gold, hair, dirty up metal gear, make things look old and used, as a quick way of doing soft armor on Imperial guard (coupled with dheneb stone or bleached bone.

There is only one Problem... Monney.. I don't have a lots of Money and cannot buy me some new brushes or more color even if it isn't necessary I could do a better Job with more Money ;)

Otherwise I already have some Washes from GW.

And I'm not that bad but if I look at those Minatures mine realy don't look good.
