Im a cates and this was my families. My dad grew up workin in the pickle plant as a kid and has a funky lookin big toe because of all the brine it was in. This video was taken around the time my dad was a kid so it is really cool to see what fasion looked like when he was growin up, it looks a whole lot better then then now. In the back ground you can see mrs. Nan fespermans station wagon parked outside her store if Im not mistaken. Anyway great to see that people still care about cates pickles.
I lived a block away from the Cates pickle plant when I was younger! My grandmother was the first secretary for Mr. Cates. Unfortunately they were bought out in the early 2000's...still making pickles though!
I'm the kid on the tricycle. Used the 50 bucks I got for that commercial to buy like 3 He-Man toys. SCORE.
