I've always been a fan of Rios, he's a talented player with a good bat, the 5 K night notwithstanding. Also, he owned up and apologized instead of ducking when it hit the fan.

Sad as it may seem, players refuse to sign autographs on any occasion. He could have gone 5/5 and still refused to sign. Hes human for goodness sakes and in a high-profile high-pressure environment where he is underachieving at the moment so its natural for a person in his position to react like that. No way does it make it appropriate but it is understandable seeing this is an isolated incident. If you jump on his back for not signing, jump on every athletes back for not signing.

Alex Rios is the most overrated player in the MLB. He is getting payed 10 million a season... thats about 8.5 million too much.. Last year he hit what.. 15 homeruns in 155 games? Whata joke.
