They have no legal army since the country is divided in 2 parts, so the army can't take control either. What choice is left? someone has to rule the country until there are elections... who is it gonna be?? who decides libians fate?? is it gonna be NATO? is it gonna be the UN? i dont think that would appeal to libyan interests.

Gadaffi will flee, or die- and NATO will install a puppet regime. The number of lives lost in the process is entirely up to Gadaffi, because you cannot reason with the dragon.

@Polydynamix If gadaffi steps down, Libians wont have a leader(you can't put the rebels leader in charge of libya, since half of the libians dont agree with the rebels). They have no legal army since the country is divided in 2 parts, so the army can't take control either. What choice is left? someone has to rule the country until there are elections... who is it gonna be?? who decides libians fate?? is it gonna be NATO? is it gonna be the UN? i dont think that would appeal to libyan interests.

Gadaffi will flee, or die- and NATO will install a puppet regime. The number of lives lost in the process is entirely up to Gadaffi, because you cannot reason with the dragon.
