  • this film was bloody amazing! i loved it soo much! sean connery kicks ass!

  • Good trailer. But too short.

  • anyone seen mosonic symbols on the doors???

    next brainwashing shit

  • READ THE COMIC

  • I love this movie.

  • Sean Connery was 71 years old in this movie... He's so unbelievably awesome...

  • @Qrtzapp yeah its nuts that a man that old can be so whicked

  • Yeah. This needs a lot more "dislike" votes. Complete butchering of Moore's comic. Typically Hollywood garbage.

  • family guy brought me here..epis amish guy

  • This movies like White Castle, you really love it or you absolutely hate it, I love the comic and the movie even tho the movie is barely like the comic.

  • the movie is stupid but classy, like Expendables

  • @proudmary86 expendables is stupid and trashy not like this.u piece of shit.

  • @zeriice9900 actually they dont differ much

  • why does this remind me of the Avengers trailer?

  • It's not The League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen though.

Quartermaine isn't anywhere near the main character, never mind the most important character. And it's Mina who's the leader (if they have one), she's, like, the spokesperson, Hyde can speak coherently (just like The Hulk can speak coherently)

Complete waste of a beautiful and innovative piece of story telling.

Fucking gay if you're a fan of the comic.

PEOPLE! READ THE COMIC! SERIOUSLY! IT'S (what you'd call) FUCKING EPIC!

  • @GreatScottPilgrimage Oh man i remember reading it when i was like 10... Is there a book/directors cut now-a-days with all the volumes?

  • @GreatScottPilgrimage Definitley. i bought both The Black Dossier and Century 1969 online last year. The world the characters inhabit is truly breathtaking. I thought this film was brilliant when i first saw it. Then i read the source material...

    my eyes were opened.

  • @SimonB198207 Hell yeah. Never read Black Dossier or Century 1969 but the latter certainly intrigues me.... Century 1910 is pretty good, if rather short, but volumes 1 and 2 are fantastic, 2 in perticular. It's set during the invasion in H.G. Wells' War Of The Worlds, awesome stuff. Have to admit, I quite enjoyed the film at first. Then, as with the film adaption of Mark Millar's Wanted, once I'd read the comic it was supposedly based on, it just became a sad reminder of what could have been.

  • @GreatScottPilgrimage Volume 2 is brilliant - i like the Travellers Almanac at the back - their world is somewhere i want to visit!

  • @SimonB198207 I haven't read all of that yet.... Are Century 1969 and The Black Dossier good? I nearly pre-ordered 1969 but I thought I might be better waiting

  • @GreatScottPilgrimage The Back Dossier fills in the gap between 1910 and 1969 plus adds lots of further detail about the league. 1969 is worth getting just because the story about Haddo is advanced and it's interesting to see the leagues world nearing the 21st century.

  • @SimonB198207 I'll have to get them at some point. I was told in a comic shop that there's a vol 3 too but it wasn't available in the UK at the time. Don't know whether it is now or not. I love Alan Moore. His sense of humour is amazing.

  • @GreatScottPilgrimage Century 2008 (or it might be 2009, i'm not sure) is to released either this year or next. it's been a long wait but will ties things up. Don't think there'll be any more after that.

incidently you can't get The Black Dossier in shops, something to do with copyright i think.

  • @SimonB198207 I'm sure I saw a copy of it in a comic shop in Leeds.... might be wrong but I could have sworn I had....

  • I saw this movie forever ago, and enjoyed it, but I had NO idea Shane West was in it! I might have to go back and re watch it.

  • Shane West <3

  • I wish they would have made a sequel. It deserved a sequel.

  • @Twilightfey nah, its too much a classic for a sequel.

  • @T1NAxTH3xGR8

The sequel was going to have the tripods from war of the worlds as the primary antagonist... U wouldn't have wanted that?

  • @JDezi4 With a timeless film such as this one, it's pretty much impossible to have a sequel that lives up to it's potential. Kind of like Shrek, everybody loved it, but as shrek 2, third and 4th came out, just got shitter and shitter :L

  • @T1NAxTH3xGR8

Shrek was a completely original idea, though. Its harder to make a sequel of an original idea and get lightning to strike twice. But this is based on a comic book series. Once they develop the characters, which they did in this movie, all the sequel has to be is pure action. We know each character, what their powers r, personalities... Now they just need to unleash them... Imagine Mr. Hyde or the Nautilus beating up a couple Martian Tripods...

  • This movie is amazingly entertaining!

  • BEST. STEAMPUNK. MOIVE. EVER.

  • The comic was miles better.

  • Titanic + Indiana Jones + Terminator 1:17 + Incredible Hulk + Dorian Gray + Phantom of the opera/Fantastic 4 (Phantom/Dr M) + (forgot the movie name,about the invisible guy(skinner)

  • @ChaosFirst hollow man?

  • Comment removed

  • we need them in the middle east =)

  • Steampunk are awesome :D

and the title make me lol

  • now i know where cars come from :D

  • This movie was a clusterfuck of shit.

  • ....compared to the comics this movie was shit!

  • It's funny that Peta Wilson was on the original Nikita tv show, and now Shane West is on the remake.

  • 0:30 TANK!

  • isnt there a scene in the movie were (I think its mr. hyde) smoking a cigar and he eats it after he smokes it all....yea im trying to find that scene but i don't know if its from this movie...i remember seeing it on tv or something but i dont know if it was this movie....can somebody tell if it was in this movie or what movie it was in

  • @joker5694 I think the scene you saw was from Van Helsing, the one starring Hugh Jackman.

  • @sidecar23 thanks

  • Comment removed

  • yes...yes..YES!!!!!!

    i love sean connery's voice

  • this movie sucked ass

  • I got this on dvd last night, freakin amazin

  • the movie was okay but the special effects needs improvement. i know it's 2003 but they are bad even for then.

  • I wanna have shex with you

  • this film was amayzah

  • As soon as I read that they were too afraid to use the REAL Invisible Man from the H.G. Wells classic, I knew this movie would fail, and fail it did.

  • @GarthanSaal444 they weren't afraid, they didn't have the rights to use the character, nor to use Fu Man Chu, who appears in the graphic novel. if you haven't read it, do so. the source material is far superior to this. i used to think this film was brilliant, now its only mediocre.

And yes, in both volumes of the graphic novel, the invisable man is a BASTARD

  • If you compare this to the comics, it sucks. If you compare it to the real world, it sucks.

I you compare it to a collaboration of all fictional victorian era stories about a team of heroes who try to stop a madman, its absouloutley amazing

  • This film falls so flat even Sean Connery couldn't make it live twice.

  • this movie beat troy 2011!

  • Oh, 2003. Ok

  • I want to see this soooooooooooo much!!! Does anyone know where I can watch this?

  • @SpockLover27 you can watch it at megashare.info. I found that website about 2 weeks ago, and I'm really happy with it because it has had every movie I can think of. You don't have to take any surveys, download, log in, or pay. It automatically streams whatever movie you chose, and it's very good quality. I was looking through movies I wanted to watch, and I saw this. That's actually what made me look this up.

  • @SpockLover27

On a T.V. You need a DVD player and the disk...

  • @MrDeano324 Aren't you funny. It's not like I would be allowed to buy it...

  • @SpockLover27

    So...

You're under the age of 12?...unlucky.

  • @MrDeano324 Lol noooo I'm 16, I just don't think my mom would approve of this.

  • @SpockLover27

Ah right ok. Well just tell her what I told my mom at you're age. "Im two years away from legally becoming an adult, give me a break!". Worked most of the time for me. Although I live in Britain, If you live in the U.S or somewhere else, this will not work, as adulthood starts at 21 ;).

  • @MrDeano324 Actually, in the U.S. adulthood starts at eighteen as well. But the drinking age is twenty-one it's weird and pretty odd if you ask me. Oh and for the sixteen year old guy. Dude! The movie is freakin' PG-13. I'm thirteen but I watched this movie when I was like ten. It's not super violent or scary. Unless this movie goes against your religion, moral code, or something along these lines I think it should be fine.

  • It wasn't Titanic the greater ship of all times ,it was NAUTILUS!!!!!!!! ;-D

  • @soltrov yeah! and the slimmest too :-))

  • even though Dorian Gray wasn't in the books, on the cover of volume 1 you see a picture of him holding a cane

  • Um... I feel so pathetic but I was about 6 when I used to watch this and about 5 when I saw the trailer and I used to get scared when I saw the big red hyde guy in the trailer and when I saw him in the film.

I know, but I watched the film the other night for the first time in 5 years and I knew all the words, yay!!!

    Quidditchpett, over and out

    P.S Jason Flemyng is neat!!!

  • bbooks were way better

  • Any one understand what happend in the end of this movie?Im like totaly confused. Anyone care to explain?

  • @MrSherlockWatson well like he said Africa wouldn't allow him to die so i think the witchdoctor brought him back.

  • watch novamov.com/video/4a8d5a73095ed

  • Sean Connery is amazing! His acting is so powerful when it comes to Fatherly figure,

    such as Henery Jones (hilarious)

  • aaaargh!! this is the coolest movie ever!!

  • Bah Dorian was only in for like half a frame NO.

  • if you saw van helsing you know about mia and the rest of characters are from books exemple: the portret of dorian gray, tom sawyer, dr jackil and mr hyde. the movie is ok i saw it and i like it.

  • @michaelbyby it's "Mina" and Mina from the original Dracula novel was never like this... she was a victim who got her blood sucked every night. :(

  • pretty decent movie! the idea is great but the plot has some flaws

  • does anyone know the music used at the end of this trailer? Anyone? Im desperately trying to track it down and cant find it. Anyone who knows trailer music etc. Help

  • I love this movie. I know own it but I have rented it like billions of times I own the books too Im a Henry Jekell fan girl XD

  • I loved the movie..<3

  • I can't figure out why Tom Sawyer would be chosen for this league lol...

  • @endorphinz

He wasn't chosen. He was a special agent that kinda stumbled into the League.

  • Awesome characters, i enjoyed this film

  • I think that movie is okay as its own movie, but as an adaption of Alan Moore's comic, it's really poor.

  • @Maximillionaire666 Yeah, where the fuck did Tom Sawyer and Dorian Grey come from? And Mina doesn't have any fucking vampire powers, lol....

  • @freakishfae3 Well personally, I think that if Mina was a vampire in the comic, she'd be more interesting. In the book she doesn't seem to be able to do anything, whereas in the movie she's at least got some form of super power (albiet, the actress playing Mina was awful).

  • so this is a movie about indiana jones dad....right?

  • the game is on

  • SHANE WEST!

  • good flick

  • I like the fact that the heroes were not like batman or superman but from the great legends from the past. I give it a B+ ...again one has to become a child to really get into it.

  • Mentlegen?

  • I want that the producers make another movie with or without Sean Connery

  • @movisony4 Unlikely, given that Sir Sean was one of the producers.

  • funny

  • او ياه كمان بيبي

  • @DrMSTLG I agree.

  • This movie was awesome, no matter what critics say.

  • @Joazzz14 Yeah its not a masterpiece but its a fun movie! and they did a GREAT job with bringing the world of the LXG to life! this movie is just plain underrated

  • @MrCrossoverer thismovie is on channel 197 fx canada right no if you want to watch it

  • @MrCrossoverer have you acctualy read the original graphic novel?

  • @aidan752 Yeah I did its not like Doom! THAT was shit!

  • @MrCrossoverer then can't you see that this film pisses on the original graphic novel!

  • does anyone know the music played near the end with the "20th Century Fox Invites you" and "They're Indestructible!" dialogues? I really want to find it

  • @Dave82517

yeah, I have also been looking for it for a long time until somebody told me about it. It's an electrical remix of a segment at the very end of end credit music of "Cutthroat Island" OST called "It's only gold".

The particular segment is the last 45 seconds of the track. -_-

  • I took it from another Fox DVD title.

  • @YarcoTV X-men 2? ;)

  • Where did this trailer even come from? I've never seen it anywhere.

  • Interesting, a slightly different version of theatrical trailer i have never seen before.
