Judas hung himself in the potters field (Matthew 27:5) and then after his body decayed and bloated, evidently the rope broke and he burst into pieces on the land of the potters field (Acts 1:18-19). Peter said that Judas's body eventually fell headlong and burst apart. It could have occurred long after he died, commenting on what happened to the body. We also don't know how long he hung there after Matt saw the body. Both are true. It is merely a situation of different perspectives.
Matt. says Judas hanged himself, Peter says that he fell and was crushed by the impact of falling head first. Although different, they don't contradict each other. This is in itself supportive that the Bible was written by different authors and not orchestrated. The accounts would match if orchestrated for one point.
The bible says rabbits chew the cud. You think that's accurate? Jesus said he'd be back in the clouds before the generation passed away. Was that accurate?
So how did Judas die? Who saw Jesus first on Easter morning? Who was in the tomb? Was the cleansing of the temple at the beginning of his public ministry or at the end. Please reconcile the two genealogies of Jesus listed in Matthew and Luke. These are just a few of the contradictions and errors. You're all smoke and mirrors. Mainly smoke.

Each author, 40 in all, in 66 books, over the 1,500 years received inspiration from God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit...all are God in different means of communicating with us. Ch 12 is about the appearance of Christ in AD27-30. Daniel also refers to the Resurrection and Judgment... is that what you think is a "Rapture"? If you mean the Rapture is the Resurrection - then we agree.
Except that happens at the end of time, While Dan 12 is about the 1st Advent.
It was "sealed" for 490 years.

Then, Satan will be him as his body becomes the vessel of Satan. The word? You don't need the same word. God, Jesus and Holy Spirit are the same entity. They are referered to by different names. This is basic Bible....Satan/Lucifer have many names, and the anti-Christ has different names.

There is no physical evidence that evolution has occured. There is however, a plethora of scientific evidence that all life on this planet originated just as it is today with the exception of many extinct species. I guess you're unfamiliar with "living fossils". Go study that for a few days.

If you believe there is, it is because you have not understood that the difference between speculations and assumption and scientific evidence is complete. Speculation, assumption, and conjecture are not physical scientific evidence. I can speculate that pink money spat shopping malls onto the earth, but that does not provide physical evidence that it has occured.

Of course Majorvoltage is correct re: Einstein. He wasn't even close to being a Christian and his concept of god was FAR from anything that religious people would make it. Einstein believed in NO personal god who was involved or interested in the affairs of humans. In fact he called such beliefs "naive". The word "god" for him simply meant the unknown workings of the universe that may some day be known.

Talk to me about the genealogies listed for Jesus. Talk to me about the fact that Matthew says Jesus was born during the reign of Herod, which ended in 4BCE, and Luke says he was born when the census of Qurinius took place, which was 6AD. Mt is indeed giving us Joseph's family line. Luke is tracing the genealogy of Mary. She has already been named the mother of Jesus in several instances. Luke 1:34, 35, Jesus was virgin born. Joseph the supposed father. from his mother Jesus was a blood descendant of King David and to the throne.

The exact time between verse 5 and verses 51 and 52 is not known, but approximately six to nine hours had elapsed. It was during this time that Judas hanged himself. The Bible relates that when Jesus died, there was an earthquake so mighty that rocks were broken and graves were opened. One may assuredly presume that an earthquake strong enough to rend a rock might also be powerful enough to break a rope or cord, specifically the rope from which Judas was hanging.

Judas hung himself in the potters field (Matthew 27:5) and then after his body decayed and bloated, evidently the rope broke and he burst into pieces on the land of the potters field (Acts 1:18-19). Acts 1:18-19 presumes Judas' hanging...as a man falling down in a field does not result in his body bursting open. Only decomposition and a fall from a height

Probably my favorite, and one I didn't know about until the afore mentioned class in seminary, are the totally contradictory accounts of Jesus' lineage in Matthew and Luke. Please reconcile those for me and tell me there's no error. They can't even agree on the identity of Jesus' grandfather!

And no, I'm looking at no list, though I've certainly seen them. I was raised a fundamentalist and it was drilled into my head by people I loved and trusted that there was no error in the "word of god". Had it not been made of such importance, I probably would have never looked very hard, as most fundies don't. I also audited some courses at a nearby seminary when in grad school. Errors abound: whether you're brainwashed mind can accept them or no is the only question.

There's nothing said about his head being crushed. You can't read. Plus one account says Judas bought the field with the money, while the other says the Sanhedrin bought the field. Peter said that Judas's body eventually fell headlong and burst apart. It could have occurred long after he died, commenting on what happened to the body. We also don't know how long he hung there after Matt saw the body. Both are true. It is merely a situation of different perspectives.

Matt. says Judas hanged himself, Peter says that he fell and was crushed by the impact of falling head first. Although different, they don't contradict each other. This is in itself supportive that the Bible was written by different authors and not orchestrated. The accounts would match if orchestrated for one point.

So how did Judas die? Who saw Jesus first on Easter morning? Who was in the tomb? Was the cleansing of the temple at the beginning of his public ministry or at the end. Please reconcile the two genealogies of Jesus listed in Matthew and Luke. These are just a few of the contradictions and errors. You're all smoke and mirrors. Mainly smoke.
