  • Many thanks to pianopera for sending this on. Thanks to him I have learned about this genius of a violinist! (:-o)

  • Блестящее исполнение!Ни один из современных "великих" не сможет сыграть так легко и без натуги.

  • Melekeenkö Jatsia!

  • Ridiculous at any age. The old guys make today's players sound like beginners, maybe intermediate level on good days.

  • Sibelius written for him!! He was only 12!!!

  • I can not belive it plays 11 years old boy. Phenomenal !!!

  • He was hungarian, his name exactly is Ferenc Vécsey. In 1910 (when he was 16-17 years old) Vécsey played Brahms in Roma like the first (solo) violinist of Orchestra e Coro Dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia.

Ha was one of the bests ever.

  • Hello My Friend,

Let me correct something: his name was Vecsey, not Vécsey !!!!! ( different family !! )

I know it, because he was a cousin of my grand-grand father.

    Anyway, thanks for this piece!

  • really? my informations should be wrong! Ok Vescey, it's your family, you know it more than anybody. Thanks!

  • You welcome! Many thanks for this piece. Actually, he was a "wonderchild", but - according to my information - he was more famous and better violinist in his early years, because his father was behind him. He helped, or rather forced him to play, and play and play the violin. When he died, Ferenc played less, and lost his unique technique.

  • Thanks so much for sharing this jewel!!

  • Thanks Very Good!!
