I would rather be armed and deal with my 'reaction time' than unarmed and deal with the 'response time' of the police, who as we both know, are not required to protect individuals. I would rather be armed and deal with my 'reaction time' than unarmed and deal with the 'response time' of the police, who as we both know, are not required to protect individuals. @ZzRvXzZ Evidently you don't carry a gun. Concealed carry can be very difficult and is always uncomfortable, especially in the warm months where shorts and a t-shirt are worn. Open carry would be so much nicer. These people aren't kids. They're doing what every American should have been doing since WW II. Standing up to the government and exercising our RIGHTS instead of sitting with our fat ass on the couch with our head pulled over it.

@samthecat07 Most states have open carry rights, and most of them don't neuter those rights by requiring the gun to be unloaded. Only 7 states do not allow open carry at all, and surprisingly, Texas is one of them. 14
states allow open carry with a license, 28 states allow open carry without a license. Only California requires the gun to be unloaded for open carry to be legal. You can check your state's open carry laws at opencarrydotorg

So, if these officers got a 911 call, their not suppose to check it out or inquire further. How are the cops suppose to know if the gun is not loaded or if your an ex-con?
I would think its their job to inquire to find out if your carrying a loaded weapon and if you have a record that doesn't allow you to carrya gun.

No one is getting it...everyone is falling for the trap. The right to bear arms wasn't made to protect us from petty thieves and other criminals. The right to bear arms was made as an additive measure to keep government in check. The founding fathers knew that almost any government can become corrupted, even with the 3 branch system we have.
This RIGHT was included so that we can protect ourselves from corruption.
