Hell, why not just gill net em? Or maybe run 4 or 5 treble hooks on yer line. Just as much sport. I reckon if I lived there I would jump on a bicycle and ride a mile or two to a better spot.
That's ridiculous. You'd never see me there like that. I might hit it in the early morning or late afternoon when nobody else is there, but as soon as two other people showed, I'd move my ass to a good spot downstream before these fools had an opportunity to foul hook and spook the fish...
you just have to find a good spot or move to another spot what's so hard....Nativebrother are u native?then how come u cant catch a fish?i thought natives new more about catching fish than I did and i'm asian.
I have a question about fishing Ship Creek during low tide...
Can you see the schools of salmon as they hold in the shallows during low tide, or is the water too murky. Also, what fishing methods work best during low tide?
ohh this looks like fun, you would have to force me with a gun to fish like these ass holes, and if i were fishing there i would shoot everyone in the face, it's like there all from the city
Yeah, for real. Except those cheaters in Canada who beat the world record. I don't even consider that a wild fish. Those were experimental fish, in an experimental lake. At least the old record rainbow was caught completely wild here in Alaska.
Your never guaranteed a king salmon. All these people probably never even caught anything that day. I've fished there at Ship Creek, on days when fishing is hot for kings, 1 out of 15 people probably get something there.
Ya I have never had any luck there. Gone with my uncle a few times cause he lived close by but I would rather go up north and find a more remote spot where not so many people.
