  • amazinggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg songggggggggggggggggggg the best of karl jenkins

  • it reminds me a little of the stampede scene from the Lion King at the beginning. (^_^)

  • I arranged this (by ear, mind you) for our Ljubljana Mandolin orchestra (OML), we'll be playing it in December and it's gonna be awesome. :)

  • @GoatMee Could I get a copy of it? I would love to play this!

  • @NightFury85 I'm sorry, it's meant for internal purposes. What instrument do you play?

  • @GoatMee I play Violin and if I can get it, that's ok. I understand that's how these things work.

  • wtf who was stupid enough to dislike this ;/

  • 2:48.... Pure Celtic Music At It's Best!!!

  • Is this a made up language?

  • @bobfari yes it is

  • Makes me think of Mulan LOL

  • Can't... stop... listening...

  • Genre Wise, How can you describe this ? xD

  • @Rakatan6666 I would call it Celtic or New Age

  • 0 dislikes, the way it should be :)

  • @Rakatan6666 2 people don't like music........

  • GREAT!

  • I like Dagda & Cusco better

  • I read over at wikipedia that the voices are just acting as instruments, the sylabels they are saying are not words, brillant, I love this song so full of beauty, drama and depth.

  • @rollandelliott Really? How the heck do you coordinate multiple voices singing random meaningless sylabels? That's hard to imagine. Can anyone verify this? I'd be interested to know how they could achieve such a unison of voices without the coherence that meaning of words lends.

  • @corrickj It's quite common. Yoko Kanno, the Japanese composer, has used her own made up "alien" language as well as English, Russian and Latin in her compositions. If you listen to the Star Wars and Doctor Who scores you'll hear vocal parts that have no meaning but are chosen purely for the sound.

  • @corrickj As far as I know, the studio recording of this is just Miriam Stockley multi-tracking to achieve a choir sound. Adiemus didn't use an actual choir (except for in Live performances) for a long time.

  • @corrickj yeaa we had to do it for music camp haha apparently the lyrics are just gibberish, we just had music notes and lyrics like every other songs we readto sing or play instruments or whatever :P the only thing is that the singers have no idea what they'r singing hahaha XD

  • @wtfparkyy same lol.

  • @corrickj Phonetic singing!

  • @cunobelinusX31 There's a difference. This is inspired by Celtic culture, just as I imagine, Celtic culture has been inspired by previous cultures they encountered on the continent and in the isles.

  • @cunobelinusX31

i listen to this and i like it.....so what are you gonna do about it

  • Intresting celtic cultures.
