  • baton twirl asian level...!

  • .... I could do that. loljks.

  • I cant ecen twist it round once without dropping it

  • she has nice teeth

  • difficulty level = Asian.

  • She is very good. In the 1960's we had a National Champion Baton Twirler in Seattle.

She was offered a contract by Walt Disney to become a mousketeer. However, the hours of practice, & painful flexibility stretching for years took its toll. She quit by age 16. Cirque de Soleil has really demonstrated what people can do. This kid is also sooo cute....

  • well, what did u expect? She's asian! :P

  • wow

  • why this is ball shit

  • INVITE CIMORELLI!!!!!

    Please Thumb Up!

  • Fuck what the fuck I can't even twirl the baton I don't have anything special I'm not good at studies I suck at physical activities T-T I feel so sad right now I don't have any abilities

  • @angelinafoxyful You do, don't worry, just keep trying something! Everyone has a talent.

  • @ThelittleGLEEfan she's Japanese... :P

  • Why am I Not Suprise to see a china kid... thumbs up if you agree

  • When I was younger, I had a baton but I broke it and drunk the juice inside of it... :|

  • @pandasoldier321 that wasn't a baton. It was a shitty plastic childs toy. It winds me up that people associate baton twirling with things like those. What that little girl is doing is baton twirling.

  • The baton was blurry the whole time because she was going so fast! Thumbs up if you agree!

  • she is an agent! they can manipulate the matrix as they see fit! beware, we are being watched!

  • Is she an actual professional?

  • I love the fact that Ellen gives chances to young people to be shown and be discovered...

  • imagine her with a pair of nunchucks!

  • What I would give to be that flexible...

  • Oh gosh. If only she became a rhythmic gymnast! She would be amazing!

  • She's a robot.

  • I say she's an undercover ninja..

  • amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • she's good, but i don't think she's doing very hard tricks. Just saying. I could do a lot of those things when I was 12. The hardest parts in here are the gymnastics and the speed.

  • The leg thing was incredible- I could never have done anything like that at her age. It was like watching a non-awkward power ranger.

  • Im good, just not that good!

  • tat waz AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't even do that and... well now we're probably the same age since that was two years ago.

  • oh my god................................

  • AND SHES ONLY 1 YEAR OLDER THAN ME I CANT EVEN DO A 1 SPIN ARE YOU KIDDING ME

  • What if she accidentally got her face by the baton... that will never happen but what if it did O_O

  • She didn't drop it even once

  • Wow!! She's good... I mean... AMAZING!!

  • SHE IS TOTALLY COOL JAPANESE GIRL!!!

  • wow ! the girl's really talented !!

  • amazing.

  • O_O

  • pshh. I can do that. If by "I can do that" I mean hitting myself in the face while simultaniously pulling every muscle in my body.

  • she's adorable!

  • Whoa!

  • dammn... she has perfect teeth

  • she's so tiny :O

  • waaahhh some girl hugged my crush! and hes happy!

  • I'm a baton twirler. I'm glad she represents us well :)

  • best sport ever!

  • She's so sweet!

  • wow, clever and talented....

  • say what you want, but Ellen did something cool for that girl. She really worked hard to be the great.

  • i can't even get a baton to twirl once lol!

  • @samanthaespinoza1 dude, she japanese not chinese. what did asians ever do to you? and how would you feel if asians hated you just because your mexican or whatever you are? not so good? i didn't think so....

  • Too skinny

  • @chilifry4612 Rude.

  • i did majorettes (pom-poms and baton twirling) since i was 3.. i'm 19 now. it's amazing to see it getting recognition on the ellen show!!! it's an art, and believe me, you get a fair few bumps and bruises! once whilst doing a triple spin, like she does at 1:18.. it landed straight on my head. not good. lmao.

  • I can do that!,first i gotta learn...im jealous you go girl!

  • Psh, I can do that too!.....With 12 more years of practice...

  • Holy shit. O_O

  • why hate? she's a 12yo girl who traveled halfway around the world to be on TV and go to Disneyland... be happy for her, she got this opportunity that she may not have had otherwise... she's TWELVE

  • WTF HOLY SHIT. SPEECHLESS.

  • no doubt this girl has talent but as i baton twirler myself her tricks were not hard at all and i've seen much better. there was no reason why she should have been featured on ellen. at her age i was doing those tricks if not harder ones at that.

  • @coachlover095 you are really mean ..... actually, it sounds like you are mean and jealous.

  • @coachlover095 have you ever twirled in the sun or with blazing lights on you?? she can do doubles and i think triples <3 but she can't c the baton <3

  • Bet she wins the school talent show every year. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • That was amazing!

  • my last name is warner haha

  • dat was awesome

  • she is good

  • She's great(:

  • She looks like she's bald

  • I can do the same as her and do 2 batons

  • imagine her in the police force using a police baton on someone... instant death.

  • she is amazing

  • I See Cirque Du Soleil In This Girl's Future.. Thumbs Up If You Agree

  • @CHRnCRS13 i think some asian super power circus is her future!!!

  • @CHRnCRS13

I see telling all you faggots that say "Thumbs Up" a heart-felt, "FUCK YOU!" Trendy piece of garbage

  • she i sbeond amazing

  • i can do that ppfff!!! anyways she should do fire on the ends next!!!

  • I used 2 be a baton twirler.....good times

  • :Impossibru: !!!!!!!!!!

  • O_____O

  • @tmwalkerm well yeah i'm sorry i guess i wasn't really thinking when i typed it...i meant "solid object" at the very least. i didn't mean to undermine her performance at all :)

  • right okay

  • Wow...i wish i cn do it bt i dont wanna wears that...clothes

  • sarah24psychotic so there is a girl who is 6 that can do more then she can i really don't think so do you :L

  • @HannahLuscombee no she is the asian there is unbelievvably talented 12 year old, but this young lady pwns her. and i didnt mean to be offense its just asians are amazing at everything its actually a compliment

    :)

  • Ellen is an AWESOME baton twirler!!!

  • i knew there was going to be SOME sorta comments about us asians....good or bad...if there isnt a comment about her being asian as opposed to being talented...this isnt an american video

  • I thought the matrix was just in the movies.

  • holy shit hacks :o

  • The guy who brought out the gift he was wearing a university of Oregon jacket. BOOOOO Him GO Oregon state University

  • For those trash-talking this young lady, show some respect - she and her teammates travel all over the world performing at the Disney themeparks, she's been featured at Disneyland Tokyo and those girls work extremely hard. She didn't show HALF of what she's capable of.

  • Ellen kinda pronounced Arigato wrong =.='''

  • one of the tricks she does is one invented by my twirling coach!! so cool! :)

  • Twirling is a dying art. Seems like most high schools are only using flags, rifles and sabres these days.

  • How did I get here from a video of Dwight Howard!?!?

  • this is some sailor moon type shit lol

  • she is so thin

  • @dollyXpop most of the girls she trains with are tiny, its just their body type.

  • holyshit.

  • If you think that was amazing, you should see what I can do without the baton.

  • wow i wish i could do that

  • Comment removed

  • I CANT DO THAT AND I WAS IN LESSONS FOR 4 YEARS

  • That girl is really good, but why bring in a girl from another country? When I used to compete, I would see girls here in our own country do much harder catches and tricks than those. Of course they might of cut down on the difficulty of this on-screen routine to make sure she had a no drop routine on set...

  • @LuvxLee I agree! When I was a twirler, I competed three-spins, cartwheels, aerials, etc., all the tricks she did here. And I wasn't even that fantastic. They should get some homegrown twirlers who are really amazing and can do things like three-baton, etc!

  • @QueenieQue she's Japanese champion, she didn't do HALF of what she's capable of.

  • @tmwalkerm Oh, I'm sure! I didn't mean to denigrate her talents, and I apologize if I came across that way. She was great, I just was a little disappointed that they flew her across the world to only showcase half her abilities.

  • @QueenieQue I've seen her compete alone and with her team, this video doesn't do her justice, she could have, and should have, done so much more. I'm wondering if its because of the overhead lights and she was afraid of hitting them...No worries, no need to apologize, just some people don't appreciate how much time and training goes into those elements. You were a twirler yourself, I'm sure you understand that :).

  • @tmwalkerm Yes, definitely. I hated competing on stages where there were lights and booms, etc. I wish she could have at least done a little two-baton, though! The audience is ALWAYS impressed when you pull out a second baton, haha.

  • @QueenieQue yeah she's used to competing outdoors without a ceiling and in gymnasiums. I'm not sure if she does 2 baton, I've never seen videos of it. Her team/school channel is sbcamipapa if you want to check it out. Her group performances are amazing.

  • @LuvxLee they didn't show the youtube video of this kid, she was a fan of Ellen and wanted to appear on her show, going as far as sending Ellen a video of herself doing AMAZING tricks. I wish they'd shown that part on the clip, and that Mei had done more of her harder tricks. I have a feeling that it was because of the overhead stage lights, she would have broken them with the tosses she's capable of.

  • @tmwalkerm I eluded to that being the probable case in my previous comment. I did not degrade her talent, I did state she was very good. Something that I was not aware of when I made my first comment, was of the tape sent in. However, I wish that instead of just showcasing a foreigner performing the sport, they would of brought in a girl from here in the States as well. I think that would of been a better choice, especially in the sense of promoting the sport, which is greatly needed.

  • watching this, i completely forgot the baton was just a stick...=P

  • @jessmeoww a stick that can break bones, give black eyes, not to mention knock someone unconscious.....hurts like hell when you get hit with one of those spinning "sticks" lol

  • 0.0 SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOOOOOD

    ☺

  • What song is this?

  • OMFG that was awesome

  • Those triple (or quadruple? I dunno) pirouettes blow me away.

  • all i can say is dammmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn

  • @ChickGam3r Well I got Burritos!! Its something we Mexicans Got!! ;)

  • All i can say is.... damn!!!!!

  • awww she's so sweet:) and i don't get how she can twirl herself around that fast dang~

  • SOO Asian..

  • Uhh....Ummm.... Eh.... Wow...

  • I am a baton twirler. this girl is a very good twirler. whoever think she is bad should not say anything at all! she is amazing! she has good body lines and free hands!! :) keep twirling gurlyy1

  • NO OFFENSE. but there is always an asian half your age that can do everything 10times better than you

  • @sarah24psychotic That's a stereotype.

  • i speak a bit of japanese...so i understood some of what she said >.>

  • WHATS WITH ALL THE ASIANS!
