all i had to do is tell it to run in a window but im using a shitty on board video card so the vid test dosent work for me with win7.(did for xp)

but do you know any way to get it to run in completely full screen with windows7? if you dont know this already it is the same as vista just alot better

Here is how to fix it without playing in a window:

When you start the game (and the colours are bugged) alt-tab and open task manager (ctrl+shift+esc) and under Processes tab find explorer.exe and End Process it. That's how I fixed my colours in Win 7 anyway. In order to get your explorer.exe running again you just gotta open Task Manager again and File->New Task (Run...)-> write "explorer.exe" and hit enter :) It's a 5 second effort each time, but you can play full screen with normal colours :)

Man i destroyed my diablo cause my vista would not run it, 1st. it would say i had compatibilty issues. 2nd. It would run, but as soon as i logged in online it would start lagging intensely and wouldnt let me join a game. 3rd it i tried single player as soon as i opened my mini map it would lagg soo bad i wouldnt be able to walk around.. thanks, this has helped, the colours were fine first up, a bit blurry but im using a tv as a monitor but the second time i played the colours were really fucked up

fix to your color issue you can just tab out / window button then go back to it and repeat to color is normal ( may take a few times must be done almost every time you go from main menu to game) and you can play full screen

probably because different vista computers have different specs then others. so this method in my video only works for some vista computers, while there is other methods that work for other vista computers. and luckily for you, you didn't have to do any for your vista computer.

Nah nah nah nah:O I play direct 3d:S It is all about the graphic card. Also It is just to install the LoD then get the latest patch from blizzards homesite, then set to Service pack 2. have no idea how to make it work for D2 without expansion installed. The problem is that you need approximatley 896 mb Vram on your graphics card to make it work with Direct 3d on vista, no idea why, but i could play it when i got my new graphic card.
