My idea is that olimars kids take his ship and go to the planet because of all the tales their dad talked about (this is about 2 weeks after the 2nd one ended) but they do the same thing olimar did, so you have to get all the parts again, but most of the parts are damaged beyond repair so they have to make poko's to buy new parts

Wow no you can get all colors red, blue, yellow, white, and purple in brawl I have the game I've been playing it since the day it came out. SSBB btw not SSB came out way after Pikmin 2 so naturally they put in the newest Pikmin colors from Pikmin 2. Don't know if you have already found this out or not, but just in case I'm restating the truth. Actually, Pikmin 3 has nothing to do with that. The Pikmin that are on the Wii now, are the New Play Control Remake of 1 and 2. 3 is going to be very different from the 2.

There isn't a real box cover yet. All thats known is that Nintendo is remaking the original pikmin (and possibly pikmin 2) for the wii, and are also in the production of Pikmin 3. All the images from this video are box-art covers created by pikmin fans.
