    abeldanger net

  • is this "Who's in the house" Carman? Chet's playing is out of this world! Praise God!

  • @jtp0213 Yes it is the same Carman.

  • Good god that's awful.

  • @sugarydonkey Pardon?

  • Hi daffydoug. Such a wonderful song. So blessed to hear chet and carmen get together for our listening pleasure. Thanks for posting. Any more of such jewels?? greetings from sri lanka.

  • @rohini2808 I have four or five hundred more Chet tunes, but I am leaving Youtube very soon.

  • @daffydoug hope you are ok, would like to hear from you, greetings

  • Chet(Mr.Guitar) and his best in the world picking never ceases to amaze me.

Thanks Daffydoug for all your uploads.

  • I've loved Chet's version of "Everlasting Arms" ever since I first heard it. So glad to find it here on YouTube. Thanks for posting it, Doug.

  • I presume some here have seen the movie "Night of the Hunter"? >:)

  • @yohei72 Hey, even Robert Mitchum's villainous "preacher" character in "Night Of The Hunter" can't ruin a wonderful hymn like this one -- especially when Chet "makes it his own" so fantastically.

  • love this song :)

  • This is a wonderful version- And a great song to wake up to.

  • Bless you for posting this great version of a classic hymn , one of my personal favorites !

  • I listened to this like 20 times over and over it's absolutely beautiful :D

  • What album is this on? Thanks for posting two of my favorites

  • @TTexas2 I think it must have been on a Carman album which I don't have. I had to seek out the single track from a very friendly person who was willing to share and help my Chet Channel be more complete.

  • @TTexas2 There is actually a two tape series called "CARMAN I SURRENDER ALL" It features 30 Classic Hymns. This song is featured on the 2nd side at the end of the 1st tape. I am a big fan of both men. What a blessing to know that the two of them got together on this song. Wouldn't it have been something to be in the recording studio and watch this two artist work!!!

  • @TTexas2 this song was on the Carman CD "I Surrender All"

  • Awesome...absolutely AWESOME!!!

  • great stuff. thanx for posting davefrog100

  • They are both beautiful and compliment each other so well.God Bless

  • WOW!! I would have never guessed that I would ever hear two such different artist from entirely different worlds. I love it!! Was this live or just tracking tricks???

  • It was live.Chet and Carman actually got together.

  • Is that Elvis singing? sure does sound like him

  • Not Elvis......It's Carman, I've seen him do the song since Chet passed and his guitar player does the Chet break very well

  • This is my all time favorite hymn, and pretty much my all time favorite version of it! Wasn't this one of Chet's last recordings?

  • Well, for sure it was pretty close to the end.

    Daff

  • It seemed to me that I bought the album and about 3 months later, I heard that Chet had passed on. What a loss.

  • I am so glad to hear these old time gospel song and wonderfully played by Chet Atkins.
