  • odd future for life

  • thoughts on the blink album?

  • Dweebo what is your top 5 rappers/ of all time?

  • @Microphonechecka2 It's definitely between Tupac, Nas, Biggie, Cage, and Jay-Z. How about yourself?

  • people like you make me hate this world

  • @RIPPIMPC08 Well, obviously you're taking the world a bit too seriously, then. People like you make me appreciate the fact that I live a happy and carefree life in a beautiful area of California, and surround myself with positive, open-minded people. Come on now.

  • @Dweebo1234 You tell em Dweebs. Forget the haters you rock dude.

  • You are such a fag. I wonder why you got that metal plate 5 panel?

  • @MikeDaooo A sense of individual style and an open-mind doesn't determine one's sexual preference. Let's see, I started wearing Supreme after watching a film from Larry Clark and Harmony Korine by the name of "Kids". A story about the mentality and lost youth of multiple skaters in a 1990's New York City. After further research about how all of these real life NYC kids had a big connection to a brand called Supreme, I Learned much more about it and found a new favorite clothing company.

  • I love Bastard, Goblin is good too though. I also like Earl Sweatshirt better than Tyler but I still like Tyler a lot.

    Cage is badass

    Fleet Foxes is amazing.

Good Taste in music, you should review Neighborhoods

  • if you like title fight listen to Ages. they aren't big at all and one of their members just turned 16. A song I recommend from them is Dreamer

  • If you enjoy rap.... Atmosphere: God Loves Ugly or MF DOOM: Mmm food?

  • Silversun Pickups: Pikul EP

  • tyler is straight ...earl is a lot better. title fight is the shit ... check out tigers jaw and man overboard if you have then AWESOME if not there both pretty amazing.

  • Check out the japcore band "Thee Michelle Gun Elephant"

  • Cool vid, and cool music choices. I actually especially liked the Kendrick Lamar suggestion you replied to someone's comment. Never heard of him before. Now I have some new artists I can listen to! :) Thanks for posting and sharing!

  • Dude I wanna Live ur life

  • ya!

    cage!!!!

  • Awesome video!! Hey could you maybe review my track back to London. I think you would like it's mix of rap/blues/rock and the musical depth of it. If not keep up the work!! Great video and album recommendations!!

  • BTW Mystic Stylez is like ghetto horrorcore, as to where most horrorcore sounds a little rock influenced, plus they have the best producers hip hop has ever seen IMO, they use a lot of horror movie samples but with drum patterns that will break your fuckin neck.

  • Check out Three 6 Mafia's Mystic Stylez album, It came out in 95' but it's a classic. It may be a little too I dont know "Hood" for you though.

  • Do you like Primus? Their new album Green Naugahyde is what I'm lookin most for this year. They played one of their new songs when I saw them on acid at Bonaroo its on youtube I think. They also released an EP last year with just google 2010 primus rehearsal.

  • Bought goblin fucking amazing thanx

  • Hip Hop is dead.

    Period

  • @JesusMicSmiter I wouldn't say so. Give Kendrick Lamar's "Section.80" a listen.

  • Attack Attack! - Attack Attack!

Jamies Elsewhere - They Said A Storm Was Coming.

Asking Alexandria - Reckless and Relentless.

LMFAO - Sorry For Party Rocking.

  • Sitting in my room with a razorblade thinking all my days are played as much as my single needs to fade away. shoot myself in the arm and start bleeding dont wanna go yet stick a straw in my wound and taste my heart beeting.

  • movies for the blind is cage's best album..hell's winter is decent..my favorite producers are dilla, 9th wonder, madlib, rjd2, blockhead, flying lotus..

  • Tyler, The Creator.... Goblin.... possibly the best album I've ever bought... fleet foxes... mountain goats.... TITLE FIGHT......

we have the EXACT same musical tastes lol

    keep making music vids!

  • Is this channel gonna be like NeedleDrop.

  • Do you listen to any Cannibal Ox? You should seriously check them ouf if not.

  • Never Quite Free by the Mountain Goats is seriously one of my favorite songs right now. You seem to be a really cool guy. I appreciate the fact that you don't conform. Keep up the good work-Alexis.

  • if you want good true hiphop look up the Barbarian brothers david and peter paul-wild ones music video on youtube ! they are hiphop gawds

  • Do you think Little B will enjoy the Rear Touch feature on the new playstation Vita?

  • Hopefully blink-182 will be in this discussion by the end of the year. :)

  • And stretchhh your ears more soonnnnnn. Im almost two inches....ill hook you up with some old plugssss. And let's start a rap group

  • I have no issues with people "selling out". If I was a rapper...and wish I was. Id sell out too. In a heartbeat. And Yessss I saw that interview...I meant underground as the genre not just Tyler. Underground hiphop is the new mainstream. I wasn't beefing with you...just stating my opinion. And slipknot yes. There a huge gimmick group. Especially with the Satan stuff....which is fine buutttt I rep it for baby jesus. Im a rhymesayers kinda guy...that's all im sayingggg dweebs.

  • For the sake of art....chhhaaaa right?!?!?! Its called for the sake of making money. Underground is the new mainstream. Odd future is the new slipknot.

  • @themikeyfresh88 Hahaha, but Tyler never said he wanted to remain an underground musician forever. In fact, during an interview for The Drone he said "I'm hungry for VMAs and Grammys. That's my main goal. Fuck this underground bullshit." Not that OF needs money anyway. They get all the clothes they want from skate/streetwear stores around LA for free. Do a little research before you instantly jump to the conclusion that someone is selling out. Slipknot... really?

  • Maybe you'd like to have a listen to a band named Remy Zero.

  • 'jesus called he said he tired of all the disses, i told him to quit his bitchin this aint no fuckin hot line" whoop whoop juggalo for life dont like it eat a DICK BITCH!

  • all hail west texas and the sunset tree are two of the best mountain goat releases

  • "Middle-Class white teenagers love me." - Tyler, The Creator. check out SBTRKT there good

  • check out Akala, intelligent British rap artist! I'd recommend 'find no enemy' first

  • Death Grips "Exmilitary" is the best hip hop album of 2011. Good list dweebo!

  • Check out tech n9ne's new album all 6's and 7's. Its out Tuesday. Its gonna be amazing.

  • EP and Culdesac by Childish Gambino. I love OF and Childish is IMO the best rapper out there.

  • U MADE dis VIDEO ON MY BIRfDAY!!! i feel special ahahhaha peace dweebz

  • i want to smell your brothers farts

  • nice fucking videos !

  • Huge fan of your brothers and now a huge fan of yours! Love the albums way to stick with what makes you you and not listen to all the haters out there!

  • I'll list 5 you may like, if you like them I can provide more;

    Artist/Album

Junior Boys - Begone Dull Care

Boards of Canada - The Campfire Headphase

    Neon Indian - Psychic Chasms

    The Thrid Twin - Homemade

    Hope you like.

  • You should listen to some thrash metal. Warbringer is a great band to start with

  • @sethyerington Yeah, I seriously can't wait until Earl is back in the game. Thanks!

  • You`re so cute Dweebo :)

  • @cleverrk9 Aww, why thank you. (:

  • Reel Big Fish

  • @wtyazzie2000 Rules!

  • Love your recommendations Dweebo, keep this idea up.

  • @acooper37 Thanks a lot. I plan on making more of these in the future.

  • Yup DO like the hair, will check out the albums- thx! :-)

  • @jodisweetie Thanks, I like it as well. (: Sounds like a plan.

  • shawn wants to always be a part of everyones video.

  • @grungeyjessee Yeah, I thought putting him in this video would make things more entertaining.

  • Great recommendations Dweebs! I also do this too, give credit to some of the upcoming artists etc. Nice video bro !

  • movies for the blind... CAGE wins!!!!

  • @BigDownie Hell yes! Easily one of his best albums. I'm excited to see what direction he goes with his new material though.

  • ...and just in case you aren't into music in its typical forms, it sounds like Shawn will be releasing an album of burps and farts in the near future, lol

  • fleet foxes is the best. i thought goblin was extremely overrated

  • Also, Panda Bear's new album "Tomboy" is really good in my opinion.

  • @ckyallianceidr96 Yeah, that's what a fair amount of people have been saying, so I'll definitely check it out. Thanks.

  • You should check out James Blake's debut album. Also, Bon Iver's new album leaked. I highly recommend that. I think you might like them if you haven't listened to them already! :D!

  • @ckyallianceidr96 Bon Iver rules. Any idea when it's actually releasing? I try my best to avoid leaks, ha.

  • @Dweebo1234 The official release date is June 21st. I REALLY dug it. Definitely keep a look out for it if you like them. I always try to avoid leaks too, but then I can't take the anticipation even more. So, I just give in and download them. Lol. If I like it enough, I'll usually end up buying it too. Like, I'm for sure going to buy this when it comes out.

  • I know good album choices to do. Your favourite rap albums!!!!

  • Do the videos without Shawn next time.

  • dweebo what type of girls do you like ?

  • @TheDpolenz It varies. For the most part just open-minded girls with similar interests to my own. Intelligence, appearance, and fashion sense are always relevant as well though.

  • This year has been awesome for new music Title Fight's new record is fantastic. Goblin is a great hip hop record as well. I am into Cage's early work but he has really gone downhill IMO. We really have the same taste in music though. You need to check out the new Touché Amoré and Balance & Composure records so fucking gnarly. Have you heard of the band Defeater? they have put out one of my fav Hardcore records in years.

  • @HoAx000 Defeater is amazing.

  • @HoAx000 Definitely! Yeah, Cage is always changing his style, but I can't blame him now that he's drug free and has a child. It's been said that his new album will be more like Movies for the Blind though, which definitely has me interested. Those are all great bands. Defeater is amazing. Easily some of the deepest lyrics I've heard from the hardcore genre.

  • You should check out Draygo McCoy......the new cd is on iTunes.

  • seems like you are talking to 2 year olds.... not a bad thing

  • What your brother is to movies/dvds/blu-rays, you could totally be to music. Nice video, man.

  • @FunAndObscureDVD Thanks, I really do appreciate it. Hopefully, because I really enjoy making videos like this.

  • Nice, I've been getting into Goblin too. Glad to see you like quality bands like Title Fight too. Hopefully seeing them next weekend. Have you heard of Make Do And Mend? That's another great band.

  • @NebulaTechChannel Indeed I have. Their newest album is awesome as well.

  • Yay, new video! :) Anyway, I'm not much into indie or hip-hop (I'll give it a try), but I have two recommendations that you might like. First is Damien Rice and he is a folk-sy singer (is that even a word?! Lol) from Ireland and he's really good and has a nice voice that is relaxing. Second is Flyleaf and they are a metal/rock band and the lead singer is a female and she has an AMAZING voice.

That's all I can think of, lol. I mostly listen to ambient/new age music like Engima and Delerium.

  • @hedjacks Damien Rice is the best. Sounds cool, thanks.

  • LET DWEEBO TALK, SHAWN!

  • lol you might be the first and only person to call Goblin "fun." I recommend Dr. Octagonecologyst by Dr. Octagon. it's similar to Goblin in its dark tone, but much more impressive imo

  • @cutedix Hahaha, such a bad word choice. Okay, will do.

  • I was a little disappointed with the new Title Fight album but the rest of the stuff you named is good. This year hasn't been the greatest for pop punk so far, but that'll probably change once the summer comes. I'm really pumped for the new TWY album.

  • definitely make more videos like these man, this was really enjoyable. and like raygunjoness said, definitely check out tomboy by panda bear.

  • @nevermeant12 Definitely will! I always have new music to recommend.

  • i have some albums maybe i think youd like. first off its cherry peel by of montreal, tomboy by panda bear, sound kapital by handsome furs (its not out yet, but ive already heard it), strawberry jam by animal collective, gorrila manor by local natives, the fool by warpaint, and expo 86 by wolf parade. that should get you through some weeks of music.

  • @raygunjoness You named off some really great artists. Thank you!

  • shawn is so funny in the background

  • Aww no shout for the painting? :(

  • @WelschVideo Totally forgot to mention it, man! Next time for sure.

  • Let me recommend someone for you: Elzhi! He just dropped a free mixtape called "Elmatic" that pays homage to Nas' "Illmatic" & it is superb! All of the beats are re-played live. Elzhi is a real lyricist too, so feel free to google it, Download, & listen....great vid!

  • @zillzultraboy Wow, Illmatic is one of my favorite rap albums. Nas back in the early days. I'll have to check that out for sure.

  • @Dweebo1234 oh please do!

  • you should try two door cinema club, the album is called tourist history

  • @lee29390 Will do!

  • you're awesome

  • The only thing I like more than Goblin is gobbling vagina. I also love big black titties.

  • are you wearing a illuminati necklace? Luv the vid

  • @michaelcoolio2 no no no nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo no

  • @michaelcoolio2 It's a triad necklace. One of the symbols Jared Leto's band 30 Seconds to Mars uses. I doubt they sell illuminati necklaces, aha.

  • I feel so old watching this! I'm a half-a-second from saying:

"Oh, what the fuck happened to this world?"

Like my grandfather used to say. Then unleashing the fury of CAPSLOCK:

THERE IS ONLY ONE RETURN AND IT AIN'T THE KING IT'S THE JEDI

hahaha. No, in all seriousness, good vid. Not a fan of the music, but hey it's your generation's thing. Youth is king. So enjoy it. I am and old curmudgeon bastard that's going to seal himself off in a room from 1994.

  • @TheFaustianMan '94 for life. There really is some good new music out there though- Warpaint, Broken Bells, Chris Thile and Michael Daves, Blood Orange etc. You just gotta keep your ears open!

  • @luriette78 You sir, are a better man than I! On your recommendation I will check them out. ;)

  • Folky indie recommendations

    Check out these albums:

Neutral Milk Hotel - In the Aeroplane over the Sea

    Elliott Smith - Either/Or

    Folk/punk

Andrew Jackson Jihad - People Who Can Eat People are the Luckiest People in the World

  • @Crazyrudie Wow, great recommendations! Thank you. If you're a fan of Andrew Jackson Jihad definitely check out Ghost Mice.

  • @Dweebo1234

haha yeah i like ghost mice. I added you on last.fm btw. I'm JLG-

  • How about Angles by The Strokes?

  • It kind of concerns me that they sell Goblin at Target. From what I've heard from it so far (Singles mainly; don't own it yet, but I like a lot off of his debut), it's pretty disturbing for unsuspecting mass consumers. :|

    Oh well. XD

And The Sunset Tree is one of my favorite albums.

  • @MyIronLung45 Hahaha, yeah! Well, hopefully they'll know what they're in for when they look at the cover art. Thanks.

  • You like Four year strong Dweebs?

  • @Astrosharks Set Your Goals is awesome.

  • You should check out John Frusciante's first solo album Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T-Shirt. His VPRO interview on Youtube will give you an idea how crazy that album is.

  • @luriette78 Okay, I'll give that a listen. Thanks.

  • Sweet Ethan I've heard of Fleet Foxes & Title Fight but not the others I'll give them a listen. Some of my friends we're recommending me Tyler The Creator he has a unique style indeed. Id recommend checking out "Japandroids" band from Vancouver. Way up your alley :) So pumped for new TITLE FIGHT! getting that album asap. I think you've found your element Dweebo.

  • @TheBSKILL Will do, man! Yeah, Title Fight is always putting out quality stuff. Such a fun band, especially in the summer. Thanks, I definitely had fun with this idea, so I'll have to do more in the future.

  • @Dweebo1234 I would definitely have to agree with that statement. Summer for sure. Hell, would be great to see at a Warped Tour or outdoor show too. Yeah man, it's always refreshing to see others that are passionate about the music like I am. Keep'r going :)

  • Dweebo your awesome!

  • Dweebo, are you a fan of Necro?

  • @dead0like0me Indeed I am. Especially his older material. Death Rap was an interesting album as well.

  • letlive., face to face

  • Listen to new albums from Fucked Up, Liturgy, Starfucker, The Pains of Being Pure at Heart, Yuck, Times New Viking, Bon Iver, Kurt Vile, Death Grips, Mogwai, Destroyer, and Wormrot. Those are the best of 2011

  • @Craiggardd Wow, you listed quite a few bands that I love. Thanks for the recommendations, sir.

  • you need to listen to more extreme metal & stuff like punk & shit like that Never is Forever by Turbonegro CD you have.

  • @GingerSnapsFast I do from time to time. Lately I've been listening to a bit of Silencer. Such a twisted band, but very interesting stuff.

  • @Dweebo1234 Hei mann that's pretty cool.

  • check out manchester orchestra if you haven't. I recently got into them and they're great. I recently got the new fleet foxes cd as well and it's really awesome. Gonna check out the other artists you recommended!

  • @fckingwicked Yeah he was.

  • @fckingwicked oh okay

  • @fckingwicked He certainly was. Back before he met Tom and Mark. The Aquabats still rule though.

  • Love Fleet Foxes

  • Thanks man!

  • i recommend trapped under ice-stay cold,

times of grace , then of course neil young,

  • @Rawp90Extream Love Trapped Under Ice! One of my favorite local hardcore bands from back when I lived near Baltimore. Ruiner has always been one of my favorites as well.

  • listen to in the aeroplane over the sea by neutral milk hotel its my favorite album

  • @supak108 best disk ever written.
