I normally like the show but I totally disagree with with him on Hillary Clinton. Its bull crap! The reason she called him an elitist because of the way he looked down on small town people. And the crap he said about hillary being republican couldnt be more retarded because if there is a democrat that has stood up to the republicans its hillary clinton.
When did she stand up to them? She took her campaign playbook from them. On health care, she knuckled under at the first sign of trouble. In the senate, she knuckled under on Iraq. On FISA. On *everything* of actual importance, she surrendered to the Republican view.
She stopped fighting as a Democrat long ago. But she's proven that she can take orders well, so she'll do OK at Obama's Secretary of State.
Well I still disagree. I think that it is so untrue to call her a republican because if that were true then the republicans wouldnt hate her so much and they would have never treated her the way they did during the sex scandals of the 90s. But the elections over so... But I still love the clintons, if she were to run again I would support her bid for the presidency in a heart beat.
For some reason, the media doesn't think that a historic trial to haul a former President and a Presidential candidate to court for fraud is newsworthy.

1. Yes, I am absolutely proud of Hillary Clinton. She's a centrist. AND only a centrist will be able to unite the majority of the varying factions in Washington. Your argument points exactly to her strength to be able to see and understand--while not always supporting of course--the opposing viewpoint. 'Know thine enemy.'
2. People of faith who fall into the centrist camp finally have a candidate to vote for...
3. John McCain is closer to this position than Barack Obama.
Those are ridicoulous statements. First, she runs the majority of her campaign like a republican, next she lies and manulipates the facts so her supporters will keep giving her money, and finally she shows up to the convention and says we should just forget about it. How do you support some like that? I used to be a big clinton supporter but not anymore, I just can't trust her. She's like McCain, will say or do anything to get elected. BTW, Obama is a centrist too just look at his cabinet.

Sen. Hillary Clinton has declined to return $170,000 in campaign contributions from individuals at a company accused of widespread sexual harassment, and whose CEO is a disbarred lawyer with a criminal record, federal campaign records show.
27-year-old Hillary was fired from her position as an assistant general council for the judiciary committee during the Watergate investigation. Zeifman said in an interview last week. 'She was an unethical, dishonest lawyer. She conspired to violate the Constitution, the rules of the House, the rules of the committee and the rules of confidentiality.' Zeifman fired Hillary from the committee staff and refused to give her a letter of recommendation.
While Senator Clinton is on the campaign trail telling reporters that the use of her opponents' 'bitter' remarks could damage Senator Obama's chances to win the general election if he should win the nomination, a California superior judge will soon be setting a trial date for the historic civil landmark case in Paul vs. Clinton.
Apparently the Clintons believe that the word 'bitter' is far more damaging than testify under oath in a civil fraud trial.
HRC stated that one of her qualifications for president is that she has "learned how to compromise with the Republicans to get things done." Is she kidding? Someone get that woman a dictionary! Compromise is not spelled
Cenk is right. Hillary now is even more hawkish than McCain calling for automatic and immediate massive retaliation including nukes if anyone harms Israel. She went on from there with some NATO type plan that requires the US to defend countries with our military upon her presidential order.
Being against god isn't a bad thing at all, mon ami. Unless you live in certain states in the U.S., where if you don't believe in God, people assume that you are a) evil b) homosexual (which they consider evil) or c) a Communist Muslim terrorist. But honestly, I think most candidates just pretend to believe in god to get the redneck vote. The U.S. needs a thought revolution, as well as dramatic political changes. Until then, how are political things going in Sverige?
I've read that in some states you can't even be elected if you don't believe in god.
Well the recession in the US is affecting our stock market as well, but overall the situation is pretty good. I think Moderaterna (conservative party, or more like liberal by American standards) have done a good job lowering tax rates for people to inject more incentive in what is a system plagued by financial indifference between welfare and work.
Unemployment seems to be going down and the educational system and health care works fairly well, even though it is under-funded.
Religion isn't even a part of politics, more than what is sadly pondering to the Muslim minorities by the left to get swing votes.
The toughest part these last year have been the series of ministers involvement in scrutinies, all of which have been fired. But that is politics as usual, I'm glad that for once when politicians mess up they actually get fired.
We have two Republicans attacking Obama, McCrustycain & Pillary Rotten CLITon, this should be your clue to the truth!!! They are BOTH attacking him but not each other because they KNOW that Obama is going to win the BIG prize!!! The next PRESIDENT of the USA!!!!!!!
I heard his speech, and it made me like Obama even more. The republican base is concerned with 1) gun control 2) immigration-with a lot of hatred directed towards immigrants 3) religion-mostly right wing Christian fundamentalists. Obama said these feelings replaced genuine political concerns and made a bitter area of political discourse. Every time there is a "fox spin" scandal on this guy, it just makes him more popular. He is real, and the media hates it.

Under the guise of this is what the Republicans will do, Hillary Clinton has sunk the party to a new low. Young Turks, stop this child behavior. Calling Hillary a Republican is silly. She's not running a good campaign. She's using the traditional American election playbook. You are acting as if she were the first person to use these tactics. Are you 3 years old or just plain stupid?
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
The thing about Hillary Clinton is that she's smart enough to compete on Republican talking points. She has years of experience on the Armed Services Committee-and yes-has a midwestern background. Obama was born and bred at a private high school in Hawaii. The only thing I'm not proud of in Hillary's campaign, is the hesitation to completely destroy Obama. Because they're subject to the left's own biases-like guns and religion-they can't completely obliterate Obama as they would in a general

Hillary Clinton is individually more valuable than nearly every other Democrat combined-so yes-Barack can get assassinated politically-and I won't bemoan the fact that the better candidate wins PA and the nomination.

She's smarter than Obama and Mccain combined-and has an attitude towards politics that invaluable and practically non existent among the rest of Washington.

she went to yale law school and bill clinton is a skull & bones member. and you wonder why she's sounding like a repub? obama's a high level priest in freemasonry as well, to me they all sound the same. please do yourselves a favor, this come election DON'T VOTE! let's see what happens when no one votes =)
No the Bush wing of the GOP is wrong! Their day of reckoning for all the bullshit they've done is coming. Whether it was Florida 2000, shady 2004 tactics, the swiftboating of John Kerry, appointing one of the donors to that disgusting Swift Boat campaign as Ambassador to Belgium, the perpetuation of unnecessary fear, invading Iraq, the recklessness which they have ruled with, or John McCain's promise of a third bush term, their day of reckoning will come. And they're not going to like it.
1) She's playing "devil's advocate", acting like a Republican to get Obama ready for the real thing (she knows she won't win, so she wants to make sure he does),
2) She has indeed pulled a Lieberman and is now not-so-secretly supporting the Republicans, or
3) She's gone batshit insane from egomania and so has her husband. Folie à deux.
I'm being gracious, I know. I'm leaning towards option 3) personally.
If it was #1 or 2, why would she be shooting herself in the foot making these absurd assertions? She's old school. She goes for the slash and burn, leave no prisoners style of politics. So yeah, she's pretty much like the republicans.
We can all see Hillary's shill on Fox every day, Lanny Davis. Who is he?
As an undergraduate at Yale, he was a member of the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. According to an item in U.S. News & World Report, as part of his initiation into the fraternity, Davis underwent hazing by, among others, the future U.S. president George W. Bush.
Davis went on to graduate from Yale Law School in 1970. It was there that he first met Hillary Rodham Clinton. Now he runs her media relations with Fox TV.
The poll of polls that just came out today show Obama has doubled his lead above Pillary in electability!!! She REALLY has a reason to shed those alligator tears now!! haha!!
She's finished. Soon we will see this witch flying away on her broomstick!!!!
There have been assertions Senator Clinton is a decades long, stealth republican mole intent on deceitfully perpetuating an alien, corporate parasitism on America's polity.
But there's nothing conclusive to base that on, or is there?
Academia doesn't replace common sense. I have known that Pilary is the same as Ocoma and Mcpain. I'm surprised that you're now just catching on to that fact. I'm voting for the non-nanny state candidate. The only reason they want to take your gun rights away is to take the rest of your rights away. Big business will not control my life no matter how hard they try. Research.
To be totally honest, I don't think she knows what to say. Everything she says is to get one reaction or another to challenge her opponent. I feel like her personal opinion is nowhere to be found.
Well where to do you think Ron Paul votes have been disappearing to, surely not Obama? Ron Paul votes have been mysteriously winding up in Clinton's count since New Hampshire.
I don't believe in UFO's, Big Foot, or Religion, but I've been around long enough to know that Baseball, Football and Elections are for the most part all rigged and stolen in the best interest of the totally corrupt.

right on Cenk! never thought i'd see a Democrat run a sleazy rovian repetitive media echo chamber sound bite campaign against ANOTHER DEMOCRAT (elitist/ out of touch, elitist/ out of touch) It's all words/perception/mind control...not substantive reality. Look where that got us the last 8 years.
Dude. Shut the fuck up. Why is she suppose to leave Obama but it is ok for her and Bill to be constantly called a RACIST? What if she won. Would that be good for Democrats if she won? Why can't you see that?

Your driving me CrAZy!! When u support someone, you stick with them and don't bash them. Hillary must do everything to win no matter what. She is winning states and more to come.
If Obama wins he will def. raise taxes across the board and be a HUGE LIBRAL on everything else. If McCane wins the war with Iraq will last forever, more tax cuts for the rich and public schools will become the worst place to teach our kids and private ones will be the best. Vote hillary 4 American's furture
Pillary=Annie Oakly=CLITon is TOAST! Edwards will endorse Obama after the 22nd of this month, you'll see. Obama deserves it and WILL be our next president. Our torn and ravaged country will be healed from the inside out. Together we can do this, it's ALL possible if we just trust it and believe it.
maybe you guys should concentrate more on topics than on this whole pr comedy show... maybe then you'd get healthcare someday too like citizens of any western country...
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Cenk, you've got to be crazy? You think Hilary is the worst candidate the Democrats have to offer? You want Americans to take a chance on a candidate we do not know. You don't know Obama like the rest of us! I need a candidate that I know. Obama doesn't have enough paper for us to know him and you insist we take the plunge with Obama hoping (without any evidence) that he will lift us up above the water. WE ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO TAKE A CHANCE ON SOMEONE WE DON'T KNOW! ALL Dems are Repub-lite!
I used to think you understood that there are not two parties. You have a lot to learn. I'm unsubscribed. I'll be back to check after you watch The Money Masters. How could I have every thought you were "awake"? More sheeple. Good luck
Crazy, Cenk is going to be mad at hillary for being pro gun.. which there is nothing wrong with by the way. But he lets the countless lies just slide by? Nafta, bullets in bosnia, shooting a gun. her vote for the war... WTF!!! There is nothing to defend here. She's a fucking lunatic.
I LOVE you. Done and done! I talk just like that. The worst is when politics just get sooooo rediculous that you just have to 'die'...like your mini death at 2:13. This ish is so blatant I die all the time!! hahaha second favorite moment (the death being the first): "are you proud of her...i mean, this kind of BULLSHIT campaign she's running!?!" oh the passion...oh the honesty...I wish this was on channel 11, 9, 5, 7, 13, AND cable. She is bullshit. I used to love her...but never again.
I had some respect for Bill CLinton when he was the President. Now that he stoops so low in his wife's campaign to take reign of the White House , I am saying good bye to his credentials.
I agree. I defending the Clintons for 26 years and voted twice for Bill, but they've crossed the line and I will never ever vote for Hillary given everything she's done.
Man! I put my hats off and kneel down before you. You are absolutely right. I don't expect United States of America to come down to this level. If you Americans keep the same trend, then you are not far from licking China's A**
So the Democrats should just abandon their core values to win elections while the Republicans are free to go as far to the right as necessary? Not on my watch! I supported Kucinich and Gravel, either one of them, for nominee, and I still stand by my decision. The frontrunners suck ass. They're not true progressives.
Maybe, Hillary is falling on the sword for the party...She is running the republican play book on purpose and throwing everything at Obama....It's a yell down the alley to listen to what the opposition is going to echo back in the fall.
Clearly Hillary Clinton is out to destroy Barack Obama. She knows that even if she steals that nomination that the democrats will be so enraged with her that John McCain is almost guaranteed to win the general election. I think that Hillary and Bill Clinton work for father George Bush and her real agenda is to keep the white house republican.
Um, am I the only one who knows this? she used to BE a Republican, until a democrat opportunity knocked, then knocked her up.... she never fully assimilated.
Why is that so unbelievable? Over half of the democratic party and Hillary Clinton's politician peers are beside themselves with rage toward Hillary Clinton and her destructive power grab!
I think there is point to be had in the knowledge that while the democrats get socked in the gut over liberality - all the repubs have been doing for 30-40 years has been trying to convince the common person that they are more amicable and MORE down to earth then their competitors.
Pure revisionist history - takes advantage of personalities over policies; has allowed extreme stratification over ideas by letting executive administrations and Congress be in a constant F---IN STALEMATE
I am fed up with Hillary, I want her to move out of the way and Obama is a "Secret Atheist", which I am an Atheist as well and I agree with what Obama said about guns and Religion.
Okay, I don't understand how that makes you right to be president. Obama seems to be more intellectual, and that's why I'm voting democrat. I want a liberal, open minded, intellectual president, not a gun clinging, god worshipping, crazed Conservative.
Obama buckled under on healthcare. Obama buckled under on gay marriage. Obama buckled under on Copenhagen. Obama buckled under on housing for the poor. Obama buckled under on Iraq. Obama buckled under on Afghanistan. Obama buckled under on his church. Obama buckled under on transparency. Obama buckled under on bipartisanship. Obama buckled under on Guantanamo.

Young Turks, stop this child behavior. Calling Hillary a Republican is silly. She's not running a good campaign. She's using the traditional American election playbook. You are acting as if she were the first person to use these tactics. Are you 3 years old or just plain stupid?

Devin1498 3 years ago
How exactly is she more valuable? She has one vote, same as Obama and McCain... combined, those are quite valuable.

She's smarter than Obama and Mccain combined-and has an attitude towards politics that invaluable and practically non existent among the rest of Washington.
Devin1498 3 years ago
Elitist like Obama has nothing to do with intellectual or smart but arrogant, egotistical, and pedantic. That behavior is a put off for me.
Hillary is just reminding people that sort of behavior that cause the Democratic Party year in and year out.

And they're not going to like it.
falconwings1982 3 years ago
There are three possibilities about Hillary:
1) She's playing "devil's advocate", acting like a Republican to get Obama ready for the real thing (she knows she won't win, so she wants to make sure he does),
2) She has indeed pulled a Lieberman and is now not-so-secretly supporting the Republicans, or
3) She's gone batshit insane from egomania and so has her husband. Folie à deux.
I'm being gracious, I know. I'm leaning towards option 3) personally.
LudwigVan13 3 years ago 3

There have been assertions Senator Clinton is a decades long, stealth republican mole intent on deceitfully perpetuating an alien, corporate parasitism on America's polity.
But there's nothing conclusive to base that on, or is there?

her role in the past 20 years of Bush-Clinton

Hillary's largest contributor is the Billonaire CEO of Spanish language television network Univision.
Haim Saban made his money selling the "Power Rangers" Cartoon, and he is backing Hillary, the power hungry cartoon candidate.
He is using the Univision network for Hispanic voter registration hoping to help Hillary beat Obama.

totally agree. her tactics are GOP'd out.
she attacks obama on the very things she is weakest on. example: a former first lady/senator calling someone an elitist.
example 2: bush awol? attack john kerrys military service.

Stockholm syndrome is a psychological response
sometimes seen in hostages, where they show
signs of loyalty to the hostage-takers, regardless of the danger (or risk) hostage faced.
It's common among victims of domestic

homes or safe houses.

You don't know Obama like the rest of us! I need a candidate that I know. Next to Obama ANYone looks like a Repub
Check your facts we've only won twice in 7 elections with Bill, a MODERATE. That is the ONLY way we will win
But stupid ultra-liberal elitists will keep right on trying to win with one of theirs to get the radical agendas they have passed
The result will be pushing the moderates who are sick to death of the party being controlled by the fringe left nuts right out of the party for good!
Then you can kiss ever having another candidate who can win goodbye
tristkiss 3 years ago
So the Democrats should just abandon their core values to win elections while the Republicans are free to go as far to the right as necessary? Not on my watch! I supported Kucinich and Gravel, either one of them, for nominee, and I still stand by my decision. The frontrunners suck ass. They're not true progressives.
