  • Neo-Blues is so fucking cool

  • CCCOOOOMMMMEEEE TOOOOO GRRREEEEECCCCEEEEE GOT DAMN!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrJericko23 pes ta xrisostome!

  • hah and to think people say music from my generation sucks ..damn looks like they were wrong

  • @trevoranderson80 This is actually the best comment I have ever seen on youtube.

  • @TheDelrem then you clearly need to read more comments hahaha

  • Sounds like a black guy singing in this song but in the live performances he's white.

  • @Buzzisms That's basically the biggest compliment you can give a white rock 'n' roll band.

  • this is the best version of the song i've heard. so thick and soulful you can feel it in your veins and it controls you like a live wire.

  • Comment removed

  • My butthole just spread open when i heard these o > O

  • @lascano201 and you're a guy?

  • @Buzzisms yes a straight guy

  • @lascano201 Wow. Quite a powerful song then.

  • wow this almost better then the version the sonics put out

  • The most well-known version by the Sonics was incredible and the riff was nasty then...it seemed ahead of its time, these guys made it just DISGUSTING wow this is great.

  • Brothers was an abortion. Really hope these guys find their groove again. Started listening to them in the early 2000's. Heard one of their songs in a skate video and was hooked.

  • This is DAMN GOOD! It sounds like it could have been from Woodstock 1969!

  • @AIKevorkian Thats because its a cover from a 60s band; The Sonics

  • @TheMrdmo Yes, it is. One of my earliest memories was my Mom used to have the 45 of the Sonics "The Witch" with "Psycho" on the other side. But yeah, I'm a newbie to the Black Keys and so far I like what I hear!

  • @TheMrdmo Its not a cover from the sonics, if you had bothered to read its a cover of the original by Richard Berry.

  • oh..........................YEAH.

  • This is slower than the version that i bought on iTunes.

  • Great version of The Sonics, but it lost a little something :/

  • healthy white baby is similar but better

    Listen to them on Deezer.com

I also recommend Jet - Are you gonna be my girl

Modest Mouse, Franz Ferdinand, and Wolfmother - Woman, and maybe kings of leon use somebody but that's more 80's

  • @SooperMablo nevermind, actually look for healthy white baby on google, their songs are on their myspace. I love "it's over" but all their songs are awesome

  • They have a lot more songs...i don't know why they're not all on their myspace

  • @SooperMablo There is nothing 80's about Kings of Leon, they are completely modern in every way.

  • There's no band I love more than these guys...<3

  • fuzz guitar = boss

  • @ImTrevorMontgomery I don't know about this recording specifically, but Dan often has one or two Sovtek green Russian big muff pi fuzz boxes on his board live. I read an article where he said his favorite fuzz through smaller amps is a Shinei fy-2 companion fuzz. out of production, and quite expensive if you find one. fy-2 clones/kits are common though.

  • Does anyone know what kind of peddle Dans using??

  • @ImTrevorMontgomery I belive it's either an original version of the type of pedal Keith Richard's used on "Satisfaction," or a cheap copy, i know it's supposed to get that maestro tone though.

  • I think one thing people have to understand is that they are not special for liking the Black Keys. There album Brothers exploded into the mainstream and we can no longer pretend we are 'special' for liking them. Lets all agree that anyone with any measure of good taste in rock likes the black keys and move on with our lives.

  • @matthound they are huge now. similar thing with arcade fire. my guess is that electronic music is so pervasive that a 'real' rock band driven by guitar is something of a novelty now. I hope i'm wrong, personally the guitar will never be replaced by a set of decks, but i know plenty of people who would disagree. you can have david guetta and his fans...

  • Omg this is sweet!

  • Amazing.

  • I really enjoy this version... Along with the Sonics too... Good Shit!

  • sonics version is much meaner

  • A cover from the Sonics, 1965.

  • @DeKleikop ...who covered it from Richard Berry. It's crazy how far back this awesome garage rock standard/early rock stuff goes. I just came accross brown eyed handsome man by chuck berry so I listened to more of his stuff. you can really hear his influence.

  • dude this song kicks ass!

  • my guitar melted ...

  • When Dan Auerbach plays this song within 30 feet of a women, she instantly becomes three months pregnant.

  • Starting to really like this band

  • I'm throwing out my viagra...

  • @Pirate7X why would you need viagra in the first place? perhaps the level of awfulness in your attempt to be in the top comments is related to your terrible sense of humor that may as well not exist... yes. you have just been owned.

  • @Theshamham Because your Mom wears me out. I disowned you years ago, son.

  • @Pirate7X stop being so upset about the fact that you're mom ties you down and rapes you in the ass with a strap-on after she's done selling herself on the street.

btw you're dads a fucking loser who made the mistake of jizzing up you're moms ass to produce you.

    MISTAKE!

  • everyone who had an erectin is gay. what the f maan you can just enjoy this shit without being all like masturbatory

  • I had a throbbing erection through the entire song.

  • OHGOD i LOVE this raw sound of distorted guitar, it is so orgasmic

  • This sounds like Get Back In Your Hole off of Undead Nitemare...I love the gritty rough rifts these guys churn out. Autotune is dead...

  • @tekwar2001 I was wondering where I heard this and after I read that I realized that's where it was :D

  • anyone think pilgrim wolfmother?

  • Are you kidding me with the whole captain beefheart's version was better, PLEASE. The only person that i have found that comes even remotely close to being better on a original version is junior kimbrough and still at that there is just something magical that happens when the black keys lays there musical talents upon a worthy song to be remastered. And that's all i have to say about that.

  • Discovered these guys 'way back' in 2005, when I purchased a CD/DVD supposedly punk rock compilation at Wal-Mart. Most of it was semi-crap, and The Black Keys didn't even have a song on the CD - but 10AM Automatic was on the DVD. Immediately I was hooked. LOL To think that this event so enhanced my life that its worth is immeasurable compared to the $10.99 I spent that day...The Good Lord bless The Keys, and all of us who appreciate raw guitar-beat blues and rock and roll music!

  • 8 people need to kill themselves

  • the black keys give me hope that there is something still good in this world

  • The only people I like better than these guys is my son....and only because he told me about these guys.

  • @anteturban hahaha :)

  • @anteturban haahha!

  • @anteturban best post i've read in I dont know how long!!! Amazing!!! LOL

  • I disagree with the Sonics version being infinitely better, I wouldn't go that far. I prefer this version, I like the grittyness. The Sonics just isn't my style sound wise.

Captain Beefheart's I'm Glad, in my opinion is a better example of the original being better than the Black Keys' version.

  • The best dudes ever ^^

  • Heard this track in the movie Rock'n' Rolla . If you havent seen it check it out

  • I love how classical blues this sounds its sooo fucking AWESOME XD!!!!!

  • I love the Black Keys, and this is a great tune. But it is completely different than the beginning. The mood in which they play it and everything is just completely different. This one is way more chill, but personally I prefer the Sonics version just cus it was so much more wild.

  • Record Producer: "But that's horribly distorted!"

The Black Keys: "That's why it sounds just right."

  • STOP BEING SO GOOD.

  • Was this like originally a 3 man band? Their early vocals sound completely different to the new stuff.

  • did you doodz know that homophobes are more likely to be GAY themselves and homophobia is a defence subconscious mechanism

  • @shitchops yaaaaaaaaaaaaay go! gay!!!!!

  • THERE A MIX OF JIMI HENDRIX AND CREAM DUUUH

  • Too many people complain when underground bands actually become popular.

  • @stilldescending we call these people, "hipsters".

  • the sonics' version is a sideways 8 better. i generally like the black keys, but this song...nah.

  • sounds like a weird mix between dragonforce and pink floyd.

  • @QuotidianHegemony Dragonforce?

  • Comment removed

  • @tcsdef I take that as a compliment.

  • Comment removed

  • @tcsdef Number 1, so what if he's gay? Secondly, how does comparing the two to the Black Keysimply him liking getting rammed up the ass??? Seriously, pick your words more carefully next time...

  • These guys are the best thing to happen to music since CCR.

  • @CriMSWoW i really don't care about your opinion so shut the fuck up.

  • @MrPaul0503 you cared enough to react to it? so you did care.... just a heads up ;)

  • @CriMSWoW hey now, I don't go insulting Justin Bieber so try not to insult the bands I like. Well, i actually do, but that's not the point. I don't click on links for his songs so I can badmouth him. Try badmouthing a band where you will meet an agreeable audience, not in the comment section for one of their videos.

  • @CriMSWoW explain how this is radio pop ignorant son of a bitch..

  • @TheDrummerTy It's popular and played on the radio repeatedly. I think they even won a couple grammys for their first album, but that doesn't really mean shit other than they're pretty mainstream.

  • @CriMSWoW Idk what radio you listen too but i've never heard it on any radio here.. and just cuz they won grammys you think they went out and made an effort to have it be mainstream?

  • @CriMSWoW Okay dude, then why are you listening to them.? Ah...STOOOPID....!

And for your information this is NOT radio pop.

  • @CriMSWoW have you finished? yes? now shut the fuck up.

  • Crimen Sollicitationis

  • @chilling10680 Im glad someone agrees with me, I like DangerMouse, but Thickfreakness,MagicPotion and Rubber Factory were sent here by god . . . brothers was just a good album.

  • @Chilling10680 I disagree. I think Brothers, Magic Potion, and Attack & release are their best, in that order. Obviously your musical tastes are not too different to mine as you appreciate this great band! It's similar to Kings of Leon, people slated them for losing touch with Only By The Night. I see this as growth/maturity/experimentation. Each Brothers track has character, other albums are more theme based and carry the same sound on each song. Themed albums are cool but growing old.

  • I love this band with a passion, but nothing beats the original version of this song done by The Sonics

  • @dtigersfan2011 u mean richard berry's original version

  • @scrrrtin4v What I meant by the "original" version was the band who had the hit with it. Richard Berry had a good version, but his song didn't become popular until The Sonics redid it. Kind of like when Bob Dylan released "All Along the Watchtower", it didn't become big until Jimi Hendrix redid it.

  • RocknRolla.

  • Hi everybody, i'm a young artist, i've made a remix of the black keys song "have love will travel" let me know what you think of my music

    Bye :)

    youtube.com/watch?v=osKryMqMi6k

  • Underrated?

they sell black keys albums at nordstrom, theyve been on several national commercials and were nominated for a grammy.

they deserve it. i just definitely dont think theyre underrated.

  • @beermeparis they're underrated, not until Brothers did they blow up, and that's a shame because their best music was in their earlier albums like Rubber Factory, Thickfreakness and Magic Potion.

  • good tunes for the morn. lolspeakers are still cold and crisp but these tune will warm them up get them ready for the day

  • Fuck me that's good...

  • ÉG ELSKA ÞÁ! FOCK! :D

  • 7 people have love but can't travel.

  • Pretty fucking good cover.

  • NO. Sonics version is 100X BETTER... Good try.

  • @needusername12 Yeah, good try at being open-minded.

  • damn listen to that fuzzzzz

  • 3:07 worst part of song

  • @marcuspinson Oh I see what you did there. Sneaky.

  • @cizzlen07 lol

  • Very nice interpretation!

  • Awesome cover of an amazing song. The Black Keys OWN sick vintage sound.

  • My neighbors loved this song so much, they brought the cops to listen too

  • @7MrMan7 you're hilarious =)

  • @7MrMan7 Your neighbors should be arrested for having no taste.

  • The best modern band covering off of the best 50's rock band. It doesn't get much better than this.

  • i`d be happier about this if when you type `the`

`the time black eyed peas` wasn`t the first suggestion

    *trollface

  • when you type in the black, these guys how up first, not Black Eyed Peas. Youtube you have regained your cool.

  • @ASDMarauder007 hahahaha awesome.

  • @ASDMarauder007 if you just type in black then they come up before..... you meen "the Black PS they butchered this song. i really liked it b4.

  • @needusername12 both verisons are kick ass ill give em credit for um putin there own spin on it

  • @Abernis no, i'm just his attorney.

  • @zobelist Dear Jann, God damn, I wish you were here to enjoy this beautiful weather with

me. It is autumn, as you know, and things are beginning to die.

  • freakin boss, that guitar is settin a wonderfully nice tone to the track. Great cover.

  • I love The Black Keys, they have kind of a 60s feeling to them, but The Sonics are pretty much the best on this song. But it is great! I think it's freaking fantastic that there's a popular band doing covers off good old songs. :D

  • Have Cool Will Travel.

  • Ye and if the comment is abut messed up soz I'm typing on an iPod it sez I'm the biggest black keys fan you'll ever meet and cross out the THE on the first sentence

  • @Skitzobilly you don't know what real music is the I think this is slot better than the sonics version probably coz I am the biggest black keys fan ever but I respect the sonics version becoz i appreciate music

  • Yeah this is great, but gotta agree nothing can touch the Sonics version of this tune. ;)

  • @jockojonson17 Then again, nothing can touch the Sonics' version of ANY song.

  • FUCK YES.

  • Umphhhhh this is so sexy,

  • both covers are good: sonics and black keys.

  • well now we know where wolfmother got about half of new moon rising!!

  • @Skitzobilly You're the reason why I'm not fully against abortions.

  • @Skitzobilly

You obviously don't know what real good music sounds like, huh?

  • for some reason i think of borderlands when i hear this..... also with the original..

  • @kite3350 yeah, it would have made an amazing song for a video or something in-game. it's funny I was just playing borderlands like 10 minutes ago and then I watched this and the sonics version.

  • @MrAureliusR ikr????

  • Anyone pick up that there usent any bass?

  • @BurnYouInsane

    The band is a duo.

  • i think the sonics' version is better but it's also fking good. Try to hear the whole song without moving. not too easy. :D
