Butch was always someone you could sit with and have any kind of conversation, I first met him in Kenmore Sq. in '78. All through the years, he was very kind to me, not your typical Bostonian at all.
Same, though I met him in Kenmore around 95. He always remembered me, always gave me a hug, I often bought extra slices of pizza for him when I'd take a lunch break (I was a student at AIB.) I'm so sad to hear of his passing, he was a great guy and he always made me smile.
