What the fuck is wrong with Yale? Inviting a filthy Taliban to attend one of the most exclusive schools in America, are you kidding me? How is this peice of shit even academically eligible to attend Yale? The school system in Afganistan is nonexisent. Fuck Yale
Why dont they mention Saeed Hashemi visiting Texas in 1998 to hold talks on the Caspian sea oil pipline that would have been built threw Afghanistan by Unocal? Well, the Taliban rejected the deal, and the plans to remove the Taliban were planed out. I suggest you listen to Saeed Hashemi's side of the story instead of just listening to everything the U.S. media has to say about him.
It's a violation of principles of academic freedom and the values protected by the First Amendment to deny admission to a student because of their political beleifs. Comparing this to allowing formal government on-campus recruitment is asinine.
Yale....GO FIGURE....what a bunch of liberal commies!! I bet all these "enlightened Yale students" who hate the military would be begging for their protection if there ever was an attack- HOW PATHETIC!!!
I think we have to remember that there are probably some facts about this story that are being concealed. We've all heard how the Fox network blurs the truth. I'm sure there's a logical reason Yale would allow him to enrol.
You would think he would be a perfect fit for Yale. Yale is a cesspool of left wing trust fund kids and foriegn students who despise this country. Yale refuses to allow the ROTC on campus ( it was started there) but still holds out its hand for that government funding.
Dude, if this Richie Cunningham lookin bitch is representative of the USA's armed forces then its no wonder the're getting an involuntary prostate exam in both Iraq and Afghanistan.
The U.S. military overthrew the Afghan and Iraqi governments in a matter a weeks and still occupies both nations with no sign of being militarily repelled from either country. This was all achieved with fewer than 3000 casulties in Iraq and fewer than 2000 in Afhanistan. In fact, the only way the U.S. military would cease to occupy either country would be by a political decision made in the USA; not because they were physically repelled from either nation.
The British overthrew the "Afghan government in a matter of weeks". Only for a battalion of 17,000 strong to be slaughtered in the Khyber Pass. Superpower armies march in like pompous morons declaring victory (remember "Mission Accomplished"?) while the Afghans retreat to the mountains and wage an exhausting guerilla war. The Mongols faced their first defeat this way in 1299 against the Afghans. Dude, even the Soviets as recent as 1979-89 were walloped this way. What planet do you live on?
The Soviets were a mechanized force trying to fight in the mountains; whereas the USA is much more flexible and adapted to that terrain. The Afghan population was united against the Soviets; whereas the USA has a significant portion of the local population on its side. Finally, because of Western aid to the insurgency, the Soviets suffered far more casualties than are the USA and its NATO allies. You're comparing apples & bowling balls.
Liberals are hypocrites, especially at Yale and other Ivy League institutions. They kick out the ROTC, yet invite Islamists who kill gays.
