  • the deck shuffle was epic .... why are you so brutal with the fluffy ones =))

  • !!!!!!!!!! James stuffed his hand into moose!

  • i know how he did it the moose was listening to what the cards were lol.

  • 5 people shuffle their decks like this 0:58

  • @kbmuncher Lmao

  • press 5 or 8 repeadedly

WOW your really a good DJ

  • Come on! That's an easy one!

It's a glass table; so Moose could just SEE the 'hidden' card!

  • Blasted youtube and their "Error, please try again", comments thingie

  • I love bear's method of shuffling!

  • I love the shuffle :D

  • or maybe just Moose is American?

  • There was some great "all-American" band that sang a song like "I love you, yeah, yeah, yeah!" But I don't remember their name...

  • Moose says your hands are cold.

  • i think the answer is moose bear and james are the same person so of course they know what the card is

  • I love Danger Mouse.

  • Lol, I love your puppitery!

  • @BJrockk Yeah is not an american word, it is probably older than 'yes' and is used widely by all english speakers.

  • @singingbanana well, that's my fault...I thought it's an american word.

  • @BJrockk are you really so ignorant that you think all americans are inferior to brits? that's a stereotype that ridicules, kind of like me telling you to go drink some tea with the queen or something.

  • @BJrockk why would you say this? Americans and Brits are the same thing, they're just from different places. To say one group of people is worse than another because of where they are from is pure ignorance and comes from a place of unwarranted hate.

I don't care where you're from. I'm an American and I'm better than you because I judge purely on character.

  • @darkdudironaji well, USA and Great Britain were the same contry, spoke the same language until the blacks started to use words like "yo" insetead of "you", "bro" and so on. That's why I sayed that. And in my oppinion I think that in England the spoken language is English and in USA it's some kind of American. Look at the accent James have. I don't think that more than 15-20 % of the americans speak the correct English (that spoken by James). Q: Why? A: Blacks. That's my oppinion, no offence!

  • @BJrockk Well I guess that makes sense, but that doesn't make Brits better. A lot of people in Britain don't talk like that. Different regions have different accents. In New York there are 4 or 5 different accents. Why would Britain be any different?

Also "yo" mean more like "hi" not "you."

Americans do speak "American" in a way. Just like Mexicans don't really speak spanish. I know this because when I took spanish Mexicans failed because we learned spain spanish and the mexicans didnt know it,

  • omg.....best part when you say..."bear...cand you shuffle the deck?"(teddy goes headbanging on the deck) :))....nice vid

  • Pssh. You could totally see his lips moving. lol.

  • The magic is at 0:58. I can't shuffle a deck like that.

Also 1:40 "It'd be very hard for me to know which card you picked." He was under a glass table with the picked card facing down lol

  • James, you wonderful looney!

  • I figured this trick out! When moose "left the room" he went under the table, and it's glass, so he could see the turned over card!

  • how come bear and moose sound like u

  • Imagine if someone walked in on him doing this lol

  • lmao nice bear shuffling

  • Lol it must be tiring for this non stop talking. xD

  • I know how the moose did that because ..... he was below the table and was looking at it through the glass table!! That sounds like an easy trick.

  • I totally forgot about pi day :( When I'm a teacher, I'll decorate the classroom each year and have the kids guess which day I'd celebrate.

  • Silly bear, you can't shuffle cards!

  • Those puppets are amazing ventriloquists. It totally looks like the human is the one talking.

  • you're an awful ventriloquist. lol

  • I don't celebrate Pi day anyway, I'm a Tau person.

  • I don't have an iPhone. :(

  • @TheMastp1 Don't worry. You can do this with an ordinary deck of cards, this is just a tease until we reveal the trick later.

  • Cute Video!! Though I thought out of all the youtubers, you would have at some point address the fundamental flaw of pi; In how pi is a half circle concept or a 180 degree factor!

As Vihart has shown me; if you have a full 360 circle, or one full rounded wave, you actually have 2 pi; 2 pi!!! - watch?v=jG7vhMMXagQ

All the extra formulas used to fix the issues just end up feel like the same excuses a spouse of alcoholic makes for their partners drunken behavior!!

  • @opaldragon75 A factor of 2 isn't something I get worked up about.

  • @singingbanana It's interesting though.

  • @singingbanana Look into the video I referenced, as I can not take credit to that point, and tell me what you think. She is a math addict too and has links to site that address the problems with pi in the bar of that video!

  • @opaldragon75

"All the extra formulas used to fix the issues just end up feel like the same excuses a spouse of alcoholic makes for their partners drunken behavior!!"

It's a factor of 2. I think your over reacting.

Also, they point out many equations were Tau simplifies equations, they don't point out any instances where it complicates them such as A=(pi)r^2=(tau/2)r^2. Not really sure if their would be a net simplification.

  • @amcnea Actually, A=(1/2)τ r^2 better matches other similar equations; Kinetic energy E=(1/2)m v^2; Rotational kinetic energy, E=(1/2) I ω^2; accelerated motion (starting at origin, 0 initial velocity) s=(1/2)a t^2; Potential energy in a hooke's spring U=(1/2)k x^2. The fact that these look similar suggests they are similar, and in fact, can all be found via integration. Consider the article at tauday.com which suggests the usefulness of τ over π at least as a pedegogical tool.

  • @IhaveWoodforSheep Your just picking equations that look similar. For instance area of a rectangle is A=lw, or square A=l^2 and these can also be found with integration. And yes, 1/2 is going to show up quit a bit when integrating anything which has a variable to the power of 1.

I don't really care, a 2 doesn't bother me at all. I don't mind the system, nor anyone who wants to back it. It's way better then the 360 deg system. I just thought relating pi to spousal abuse was an overstatement.

  • so when will pi day be in 2014 because it would just be the 3rd of every month!

  • well the table is made of glass, moose cheated!!

  • @Mastersonsegg Busted! :)

  • hoooraay! I don't have an Iphone, and If you didn't develop FOR the iphone I would both: be able to see what it is you are talking about, and enjoy it at a sensible date.

So... Instead, I should go buy some random video series you plugged instead of a solution?

So, Like... For future reference, are you going to describe mathematical puzzles then sell the solutions now? Because if you are I'd like to know if I can jump ship.

  • @oEQjet Do you often make up things that might happen then get angry about them? Relax. Everything here is free, including the time and effort I give. The world has enough things to be genuinely angry about than to worry about what some guy on YouTube might do.

You've not heard of Scam School? It's very good, you should check it out, you can find in on YouTube. And let's try and keep things light-hearted in future, ok?

  • @singingbanana Oh I see, That's fair.

But I did notice one thing:

To see the rest of this comment go to my channel and subscribe and I will send it to you.

    hurp.

  • Oh wow, the bear bashing his head on the deck was nice. Anyway I figured it out, you are both the bear AND the moose. So when the bear (you) chose his card the moose(you) immediately knew it.

  • I worry about you sometimes Jim...!

  • You should have saved this for the second pi day, July 22.

  • I love you, but you're a douche! No idea what you did, other than CHEATED!

  • I like bear's shuffling technique.

  • LOL good job bear

  • guess what i just downloaded

  • @FreerunnerDave Pictures of rude ladies?

  • @singingbanana close but no dice....i just download your iphone app

it was hard to get used to at first but when i understood it it was cool..thanks

  • when is pi day

  • do you think they had a pi day in 1592? that would have been awesome!

  • ok, now usually ventriloquists use different voices for them, and the the other puppets. haha nice video

  • Best... mathematician... ever. Of all time. Teach at my uni!

  • Happy (late) pi day!

  • ok no puppets in the future ok, just math

  • @alewisgb I like puppets. And I like maths. But which is better?...

  • @singingbanana their is only one way to find out........... FIGHT!!!

p.s your better at math and its a little more interesting

  • @singingbanana Maths.

  • Comment removed

  • @alewisgb Aww, come on. When you're a college professor with a Math degree, the best thing you can do is add a little humor in your lecture. Don't be so serious, and enjoy the less expected side of life a bit! (Besides, it's not like he uses puppets ALL the time.)

  • Forever Alone

  • really great trick and nice app. it works incredibly good!

  • don't worry, I'll help

  • I memorized the first 50 digits of pi in the 5th grade in less than an hour and a half. And I still remember it. Is that pathetic?

  • @jackrc11 There's something seriously wrong with this world if anyone thinks that's pathetic.

  • @Xerxes4242

I wrote it on the window on the bus in 6th grade and everyone was saying "Nerd, Loser, No-life, etc".

    They're just jealous, no question.

  • @jackrc11 Haha well 6th graders fortunately don't run the world:)

  • o yeah! i love pi!

  • This is also funny because one imagines you used puppets because you have no real friends. (Just kidding ^_^)

  • @millineu It's funny because it's true. I mean, hey!

  • I laughed like a maniac at Bear shuffling. I literally rofl'ed

  • Pi day, pi day, gettin' down on pi day!

  • @Phluffey Hahaha Best comment ever. You win one internet sir.

  • @singingbanana I downloaded the App, its well good, great job Singingbanana

  • @BaxiBWFC Yay! All credit should go to my friend who made it. He prefers not to take credit, but he is the one to thank.

  • @Phluffey Which pi should you take?

  • I wish I could download an iphone so I would have something to download the app onto... :(

  • @illustriouschin Same for me. But I programmed my calculator to do this trick. So I'm happy.

  • @TyYann I got my start programming on a calculator before I even owned a computer. Good Ol' TI-83 and later TI-89, perhaps not a great way for students to get started programming from my experience though. Their language concepts don't translate will into more OOP ones like C++ but also I mostly used mine to program games or math programs to do all my homework for me, so naughty!

  • bt dubs!! i luv the mooose!!!!

  • woohooo! im downloadin this onee!!! <3 we luv ur vids!!! keep em coming!!!!
