@IsSaidLikeThis - valiere1947 is correct. For his 1st week, Geoff had an English accent and was completely pre-recorded. After that, voice talent Josh Robert Thompson, who had previously appeared in the show in skits, was hired as the voice of Geoff. 1 year later, he voiced Geoff live for the 1st time in the Vegas episode.
