During the 1960 /70s Laundrettes were a big thing in Britton, used by lots of folks, there were a serious of fires in these laundrettes, & they found the common denominator to be, greasy tea towels once washed, and stacked together folded in to plastic bags, retained there heat, & never quite removing all the oil /grease, in the wash, these tea towels would over night self combust. so starting the fires.
